What I like about this park is that it's spacious, and offers lots of shade. I especially appreciate the shaded parking spaces.Walking trails surround a dog park, skateboard park, horseshoe courts, several soccer fields, and several open fields (which are usually also used for soccer). I love the duck and lily pond with the fountain, although I'm not certain whether this is a feature of the park, or the court house. The park is situated with walking distance of Starbucks, Kiki's Chicken Place, C.K.'s donuts, the family court house, and the Power Inn light rail station. It is not the cleanest park, but it is kept in decent enough shape, and is pretty popular. Yesterday afternoon, I was in the process of parking in one of those shaded parking spaces when I noticed that a man (whom I had just driven by on the street) seemed to be following me into the park.He walked up to a brown van, and proceeded to try to open the door in a way that made it seem like he didn't expect it to be open. He had already started to move on to the next door when he noticed that the side door was opening. At this point, I was thinking, this *could* be his van, but, I had a feeling that it wasn't. Right at that moment, another man pulled in between us, and parked.Seeing that I was staring in his direction, he came over to talk to me. "Hi, how are you? I like your hair. Can I get your number?" Etc.As he was talking to me, I noticed the first man leaving the brown van, and going through the same process with a different van."I don't think that's his car," I said to the man who was asking for my phone number.I guess I was nervous from potentially witnessing petty theft, because all I could think to say to his multiple requests for my contact info was, "Oh, no thank you." As I started my car to leave, I said, "Maybe don't leave your car here! Cause that guy is probably gonna go through it."That's the last time I try to save $3.50 by parking at the park, and walking to the court house.

Super spacious dog park with plenty of parking and shaded areas (one with a canopy!) for when the weather seriously warms up. Worth a visit all dog lovers.

Great park. We come here for soccer. The fields are nice. They have lots of parking and a handful of Port a Potties. It's great for walking. Across the street there is a pond. I've seen people fishing. The only thing I don't care for is the amount of geese poop. It's usually everywhere.

Beautiful park! It's large! Had many areas for r&r. The kiddos enjoyed fishing. Good spot for a small fishing get away. Enjoyed the soccer tournament. Some vendors on site. Benches & trees are available but pack a canopy and chairs if you'll be there for a whole

The dog park here is very large and spacious! There's plenty of room for the pooches to stretch their legs and run and play and burn off excess energy! There's something about the layout of this space that lends itself to easy play and socializing for dogs. There's sand, so that even in rainy weather, it drains well and isn't mucky...just wet and sandy. There are two different entrances to come and go through. There are places to sit by the concrete structures, and there's a doggie water fountain for when they need a drink.I do wonder, though, whether some of the bigger dogs can jump the chain link fencing. Some of the areas are very tall, and it seems like there'd be a risk of dogs leaping or jumping to get out. However, watching the dogs, thy seem to be distracted about other feathers of the park and do no seem to to notice that vulnerability. This is one of the better dog parks in town, i think.

Amy and I brought our dogs to this dog park for the first time. Oh boy, did all of them have a great time. I was shocked how empty the park was but I can understand why. There are way too many foxtail so be careful also walking down the walk way it's best to carry your Pet because of all the broken glass, so trifling. Anyway, all the dogs ran, played fetch and had an all around blast. I didn't notice any fountain for dogs to get water but luckily I always carry water and a bowl for them. Maybe there was a fountain but I never saw one. I do like this park better than Howe dog park and Carmichael dog park because people bring there big dogs in the little dog side and my dogs are scared of large dogs except for Brenda...lol!!! I would definitely bring my dogs back here because they had so much fun and when they are happy I'm happy! :)

Great facility and space for families to enjoy watching soccer. Unfortunately, when I look around, I see a lot of trash and no visible concern for keeping our parks clean. It is clear there's a lack of respect for our Earth that continues to support humanity. It's 2023 and the park doesn't even have recycling bins either? Welcome to Sacramento, the greatest capitol in the union.
