What a terrific place!!! First time staying here. I rented the Zen cabin for 5 nights. It was the most relaxing vacation ever! Quiet well kept grounds. The cabin was perfect for me. Just a bed, sink and toilet. And it did have electricity. Campsite also includes a built in bbq, a fire pit and table and two chairs on the deck. Was able to park my car right next to the cabin. Cabin also included a table top fan which was very helpful, as it was a very hot week. As someone who wanted to camp, but didn't want to sleep on the ground, these little cabins they have were perfect! Showers were coin op and just a quick walk from the cabin. Showers were .50 cents for 3 mins. You can add more quarters for more time. The communal bathrooms and showers were VERY clean at all times. Very well kept. The pool was terrific! Perfect temp and was very nice to hang out down there and read a book. Just a 5 min drive to big trees state park. Also a quick drive to Lake Alpine, Stanislaus river, Columbia state park, some terrific restaurants, and the moaning and Mercer caverns. The staff was super friendly and very helpful! All in all I had an amazing trip, and I will definitely be back!

We booked an overnight at this place a few years ago to attend a wedding. It is a smaller campground and feels a bit tight with 22 full-hook up sites and only 30 amp service. They have one site with 50 amp. They do have 6 pull-through sites for larger rigs. They allow tents on pull-through sites only. The sites are dirt, but fairly level. Anyone with a large rig and tow vehicle should avoid this place or call to ensure you will fit. There are several large trees in the park that can make backing your rig difficult. Most of the sites are fairly small. If you are trailering another vehicle, they recommend renting another site to accommodate that tow vehicle which is a bummer. They do have a pool, showers and bathrooms. For me, it was cool to experience this place one time, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

It was an ok place to tent camp. Quiet time is 10-8 and no campfires after 10. It isn't enforced as people were partying really loud until 12:30 with campfires the whole time. Our campsite neighbors were party animals and left their garbage and ice chests out despite all the warnings of bears so of course, guess who showed up for a visit in the night? They don't give you those warnings for no reason!!! So be aware. The women's bathrooms were always way too busy with a decent wait. There were 4 toilets in the closest bathroom to my site but only 2 were working. The toilets overflowed at one point closing the bathroom completely. There was also no toilet paper in the bathroom for the majority of our stay. The pool was closed under renovation also. The port-a potty hadn't been serviced since 6/24/24, almost a month. So as you could imagine The overwhelming amount of crap inside those potty holes on top of the stench was definitely vomit inducing ;) I thought the poop might overflow soon. Super yuck. When paying "resort" camp prices I'd expect a working toilet with toilet paper and enforcement of quiet time would be nice at the minimum. Basically long story short I would not call this a resort. But, The hosts and camp workers were all very friendly and the camp itself were very clean so that's a plus.

My husband, two dogs and I stayed here for three nights. Coming from southern California, this place gave us a truly unique experience. We were surrounded by trees and nature. The air was fresh. The temperature was cool (first week in June) and we had the best spot on the property. We were in site 53. It's a huge, flat, spacious pull through site. It looks over much of the park. It is 50 amp and full hook up. Our Directv and internet worked perfectly. We chose to use our own data because we have unlimited with Verizon. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. They sell fire wood for $5 a bundle. The park itself is large and you can hike and explore right from there. The camp hosts were super cool and were visible working on the property constantly. Like clockwork, they picked up the trash and recycle at 7:50pm every day. When we arrived, Ben drove "Carti B" and leads us to our site. He helped us pull in straight and offered extensions and tools if we needed them. This place is about 20 minutes from Murphys and 40 minutes from Angels Camp. There are cool bars (restaurants) near by, gas stations and a grocery store. We definitely recommend this place.

Such an awesome place. Just spent the weekend here and the owners/staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was excellent. They have doubled the space of some of their trailer sites and it was really nice to have so much room the kids could run around. Definitely will be back.

They helped us with our pain in the butt trailer and they were the most welcoming people I felt so safe there with my family.

We spent six nights here last week. What a hidden gem. ALL the hosts are so kind and helpful. The grounds are truly beautiful. I was afraid the spaces were very close together, they are not. The pool is clean and roomy. The bathrooms and showers are spotless. The laundry room is perfect. Two washers and two dryers. WIFI not so much. Have games and dvds or just talk to each other. LolNot so good things: our spot was not really big enough for our trailer. To open the slide we could not open the awning. If we moved back then we could not hook up sewer. If we moved forward then the tongue was in the road. But by far my biggest disappointment was not being able to sit outside because of the WASPS. We bought two traps and they had one hanging on tree behind us. HERE WE WERE IN ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAMPGROUNDS WE HAVE EVER BEEN AND COULD NOT SIT, COOK OR EAT OUTSIDE. NOT THEIR FAULT. WAS JUST WHAT IT WAS. I would go back tomorrow if I could.

Our favorite spot to camp! Stayed before in a tent and this time in a trailer spot. Great sized spot, super friendly people that host it, and feels like a home away from home. Everyone respects the quiet time rules at night--not a big party place. We love it!

This business lacks compassion for their clients. We had reservations for a weekend trip, which unfortunately we were unable to make due to unsafe air quality caused by a fire and smoke in the area. We called to see if we could possibly move our reservations to a future weekend, we did not ask for a refund. They told us that they will absolutely not alter reservations. Not being able to alter reservations is to some extent understandable, but when we explained to them that I have asthma and cannot be in poor air quality, they informed us that the air quality "was not that bad". When we explained I have asthma and can't be in poor air quality, they still didn't care and didn't seemed concerned. They showed absolutely no compassion for our situation.
