Golden Bowl Chinese Restaurant

It was my family's first time here and I'm glad we made the decision to try their food out. I miss this kind of family-style restaurant just like what we have in LA, but this place is better in terms of how it's not as busy even on a Sunday afternoon.I want to say that the place is clean, therefore our impression of the food was good. We ordered 4 plates of the shrimp fried rice, even my dad was just eating that without anything else. LolThere was a misunderstanding with one order and the waitress gladly took the wrong food item back and exchanged it with the right one. She was smiling from the very start when she welcomed us and took us to our table all the way to giving us our check. I'm not sure if it says anywhere on the menu, but gratuity's already included for big groups. There were 9 of us that day.I want to say we would definitely go back to this place, hopefully with the same, if not, better experience.

This is a small corner restaurant right of 15 on Luise in a strip mall with lots of food choices including Indian, Mexican, pizza, and Japanese. Service is extremely quick and efficient, since it was our first time and we weren't overly hungry, we decided to try a combo plate each. The babes usually doesn't eat much but surprisingly she was on the hungry side. I got up to ask if I could order another plate for her and the waitress loudly asked, "what do you want?". It seemed harsh to me so I just asked for a napkin.The food is good, a bit on the salty side, reasonably priced and good portions. They seem to have a lot of repeat customers because most of the folks who came in knew their names. In the future, I'll probably just order to go only.

Was craving Chinese food. This is the place toGo. Nice staff. Fast service. We will be back.

Charming little restaurant, with tasty food, and kind service. I would frequent this place for my lunch or dinner needs, whenever I'm in town on business. So far, I have tried their House Fried Rice, Mushroom Chicken, and Sweet and Sour Chicken- all are amazing! I'm more of a fried rice-kinda guy, so most of the time I always order the fried rice. Mmmm! Now, what makes this review special is something about their iced tea that's always so refreshing and a perfect touch of flavor; that's always my go-to drink. Give them a try; you will not be disappointed!

Being on the mainland for 4 days!! dying to eat rice. .niece recommended this place. She lives in Lathrop.. wow come to find out it's only around the corner from our hotel holy shit! right under our noses!Service was friendly and quick! Good was delicious and tasty! i was pretty leary thinking that the food would be bland. Totally enjoyed our meal

The food and service here are top shelf! It's in a small strip mall and located right next to a Mexican restaurant. I was undecided which one I wanted to try until I walked into both and had a look. Golden Bowl was very clean, the staff greeted me just feet in the door, and the aroma confirmed that I had to have it in my mouth. They had some great lunch specials! $15 got me three items and a cup of soup. I had garlic chicken, chicken fried rice, and chicken chow mein. I was surprised how fast my food was ready and served. The soup came out immediately after ordering and was fire! The entire meal was served less than 5 minutes later. At first I was worried but it was super fresh, super hot, and some of the best garlic chicken I have ever eaten. The chow mein was also pretty good. The rice was just ok. I would eat it all again.

I really like this place good food cozy atmosphere wonderful service I think ima make this place my number 1 spot for Chinese food can't wait to go back

FOOD POISONING!!!! Never again! Greasy and overpriced. Ordered Mongolian beef and it had more onions than actual beef. The wontons were mushy in the soup. And the rice was over kill with peas and carrots

Service was fantastic but more importantly the food is DELICIOUS!!! My favorite Chinese food place. Whenever driving down to LA from Sacramento I love stopping at this place!

Amazing food. Highly recommend. The Shrimp chow main is next level good. My husband and daughter love their fried rice. 10/10
