Looks like a nice place. There were a few vacant lots. Managers told me only trailers 20 or new allowed. 98% of trailer there are 50 years old. Manager did not have any proof of this "rule." I pointed out a hanging noose hanging from a trailer right in front of managers office. Manager told me he never saw this noose until today? This place is along old HWY 49 and it is a noisy and busy road. The hike to town is a death march since there is no sidewalk or path or emergency lane along the mile road to town. Avoid this place except if you have no place to go because very unfriendly place and suspect place.

Our RV Club has been to this park more than once and will come back again. The staff is friendly and helpful. The park itself is clean and kept up. The pool is wonderful during the summer. There's a clubhouse with a big screen TV, pool table, comfortable furniture, and a large kitchen. We like the window in the clubhouse that looks into the water of the deep end of the pool. The sites for overnighters and clubs is down a hill and feels separate from from the residents of the park. The area has a nice bricked quad area in the trees with a few picnic tables. When our club is there, we take the entire circle!

It's a nice, quiet family oriented park. The swimming pool was very nice and relaxing. Enjoyed our two nights very much and at a very reasonable price. Definitely go back.

Currently a 1 star from me! Have been trying to get ahold of them for about 2 weeks to get a spot booked. And there is now a disconnected number.

Shea the manager is great, the pool is amazing, but will not come here again, as we had problems with the electricity, we were a group of 11 rigs and most of us had problems with the power, Wes was a great guy trying to help with the power, Gold Strike needs to invest in 50amp, the 30amp was not working properly, had to use our generator most of the 6 days we were here

My Mom and Dad live here temporarily at Gold Strike Village in San Andreas, CA. Unfortunately their 2013 Subaru had a freak fire over night and was stuck in the driveway. The next day I showed up to give them rides and stay for awhile while they got things sorted out. Not more then a day later we got complaints that we had to remove my car and go half a mile away in the visitors parking. We tried explaining to the manager that we had a freak fire and that we couldn't move the burned car (And the insurance company was working as fast as they could to tow it), but they were not understanding. We had to walk half a mile everytime to use my car. Both the Manager and the Owner (Who live right next to them) are rude and very stuck up. They don't wave or be friendly when going by, and personally they give me a strong sense of being inferior to them. Not to mention whenever the owner has a visitor he has them park in front of my Moms place instead of his own. I would not recommend this place. There is a road that is as loud as the highway right next to the park. People blast there bass music constantly, and loud exhaust systems are heard hourly. People around here are always snooping around and in getting into everybody's business. There are kids running around who go on your property and get into your things without permission, and they also constantly ask for food and drinks even though you don't know them. One of the residences said there was a large fire, called the Buete fire, 10 miles away and they didn't tell or evacuate the residences. I would not recommend this place.

We stayed at the Gold Strike Village on October 1, 2015. We were given two sites to look at. One of the sites someone was using as their personal parking lot. We went with the second choice. The Park itself was quiet and the staff was friendly. My issue is with the cleanliness of the grounds. We have a dog, a large German Shepherd, and I carry doggie bags wherever I go, even in the desert. It would have been nice if the other residents and transients had carried doggie bags as well. Wherever you walked you walked in dog crap......It was everywhere. NO ONE picked up any the their dog waste, except me. I was appalled. I wish I had brought my stall mucking boots, as the bottoms of my sandals were full of it. This is not the dogs fault. I blame this entirely on inconsiderate people. Maybe signs to pick up after your pet is something the park should do, but I guess that will only work if people can comprehend what they read. . D. ThalerBoulder City, NV
