Gold Country RV

I called Curtis asking if he had some parts for my truck camper. He is out in the rain and digging in dark corners of his shop looking to see if he has these odd parts. What a nice guy!

I drove from Elk Grove to see an RV. The sales person was 1 hour late for our appointment. After his arrival I was given the keys to checkout the RV I had requested to see. The battery for the vehicle I had inquired about was dead and the vehicle could not be started. I was told to return later in the week when a person was available to jump start the vehicle. Horrible customer service. The RV should have been ready when I arrived or the sales person should have at least offered to jump start it so it could be tested even after he was one hour late for our appointment. Terrible service.

Purchased a Jayco 195RB . Great sales experience. No pressure, delivered on time. No rush walk thru. Great people to do business with.

I was texting one of the salesman Justin I think and he was answering all my questions. Then I guess I asked something he must not of liked and stopped texting. I waited two hours then called. Got another salesman asked if I put down a hold if they could hold it for me. He was super rude when answering me. He could of just said no we don't do that. Instead he was very rude. I think I'll just stay away seems they don't like to work with anyone. And I've worked in the automotive industry and we would never single out a customer.

My wife and I purchased a very nice toy hauler from Gold Country RV that needed some minor repairs that the owner, Curtis, sales person Katrina, my wife, and I all agreed on. Because we live an hour away I expected everything we agreed on to be taken care of when they called and said it was ready to pick up. When I arrived to pick up our RV I was instructed that one of their employees would walk me through how everything worked. Not only did they not make the repairs we agreed on he had no clue how anything worked. The full tank of propane that we were promised was empty, the battery would not hold a charge, the fan was not replaced as promised, (still dirty and falling apart). After two hours waiting for the guy to make a few of the repairs we had agreed on I approached Curtis to find out why, Curtis stated that he did not remember the things we had agreed on even after handing Curtis a list of items to repair the day we made a deposit for the trailer, they made no effort to make the corrections. After bringing the toy hauler home, the following morning the generator would not start, battery dead, solar panels not working, and so on. Would not recommend but if you find anything to your liking make sure you get everything in writing because Curtis is not a man of his word.Ken ReischeYuba City, CA

Campfire survivors and he ripped us off big time when we were most vulnerable after losing everything in the campfire he then rips us off for a trailer that's a piece of s*** that he bought it in auction where I think he buys all of his trailers I would never recommend this company not even to my worst enemy.. if I could give them no stars I definitely would

Uggg, what a waste of time talking to some liars posing as sales reps. Note to the sales: if your people don't know the answer to a question, don't make up stuff which is proven incorrect. Glad we did not drop our $35,000. with these fools. Poor hires.

I purchased a toy hauler in october. Once I got it home and learned that several things weren't working properly I reached out to them. They never returned any of my calls. Their pre inspection program is disappointing. Inverter didn't charge the batteries and the water pump was leaking a lot (buyers beware)

I put a large deposit on a toy hauler on a Saturday and the trailer was ready to go as per agreed on Tuesday. One tank of propane filled, battery installed, filled with water, fridge turned on, trailer cooled down inside, wiped down and ready to go. Did find a couple things they attended to right away. The price wasn't thousands more then bigger dealers like others had posted reviews about. There was a few things i didn't like on trailer and wanted upgraded on this new unit and they where honest said there not equipped to do that and reduced the price of the unit so i could have the upgrades done elsewhere. They are small family owned business so you won't have people tripping over them self's to jump to your begging call but they did everything they promised and gave me what i needed and enough space to make a no pressure decision on what trailer to buy. I had been to 11 dealers before them looking at other models and i say my exp was pleasant and i can't agree with some of the reviews. I actually went to them last because i saw merit in some of the reviews but I'm very satisfied i purchased from them. Good price, no hassle, dealt with everyone there and i was in and out in less then 1hr with all paperwork. I did not finance so can't speak on how well they work with lenders. I have been to just about every RV dealer from Modesto to Redding looking and i couldn't get a better deal at any of them or what i wanted. Purchased a 18mx by Pac coach works. I needed a 7ft wide trailer under 5,000lbs as my tow vehicle is a Chevy Colorado and i wanted to be under 75% of its max towing capacity of 7700lbs.If your looking for salesmen in suites with a platter in hand and treat you like your personal butler this isn't the place for you. But if you enjoy shopping with family owned and operated average people who treat you with respect and give you cold glass of water while you look through there inventory then you are at the right place.
