Combo plate subbed dolmas for more falafel. A little too much feta. Ordering again with less feta next time. Baklava always a must!

Go Falafel in Stockton is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a clean, inviting atmosphere and a warm, friendly vibe that makes you feel right at home. The food? Amazing! The falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside--truly some of the best I've ever had. Their hummus is creamy, fresh, and pairs beautifully with their warm pita bread. Don't even get me started on the shawarma--it's tender, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. The prices are super reasonable for the generous portions you get, and it's so nice to find a spot where you can enjoy fresh, tasty food without breaking the bank. Plus, knowing you're supporting a local business makes it even better. If you're in Stockton and craving something delicious, Go Falafel is a must-visit.

This review is quite a few months late. I ordered a combo wrap (veggie or vegan wrap, which contains falafel) to go. The food was ready within 5 minutes. It was decent and I liked the falafel but overall I felt it was underseasoned and needed more flavor - whether salt, spices, or otherwise. I noticed also that it came in a styrofoam container which is a downside for environmental sustainability, but I understand that there are not the same requirements around packaging in the Central Valley as I may be used to seeing in the SF bay area.

The chicken kabob plate is $15.99 without tax and the added feta cheese is $1.54. With tax it is around $19. I don't think it's worth it. The chicken kabob and the dip for the pita is good, but it isn't worth it for the whole plate. The rice is bland and tastes odd, the salad is something you can make at home. I just couldn't eat the rice at all. The feta was probably the worse add on. The lady said it's good but never mentioned the extra charge for it. Basically, a sprinkle of feta cheese in that plate is $1.54 while 2oz of feta as a side is around the same price but slightly cheaper. As for the chicken kabob, it is $5 if it's bought separate. Still not worth it overall.

First off, you must like garlic. Devision, prepare for delicious and savory flavored meats. No complaints about service and lots of seating.

Driven by this place many times visiting my child at the college. Finally decided to give it a try and it was delicious. Service was friendly. The lady was very nice and asked if we needed help deciding. I frequent Mediterranean restaurants so I knew what to order. Greek Salad with Gyro - nice salad with cucumber, tomatoes, Greek olives, and feta. The dressing was homemade and the tzatziki sauce was delish. Pita with Chicken Shawarma - flavorful and filling!Pita with Beef Shawarma - made it a meal deal with fries and a drink. Also good. Beef Shawarma Plate - good sized dish with pita bread, rice and hummus. Little bit of a wait to get our food but not bad. We were 3rd in line and it also l means they are making our food to order. We also ordered the original baklava, almond baklava, and a chocolate roll. All are homemade onsite. Love the interior. Greek colors, bright dining area, and inviting. Would return again for sure! The chicken is incredibly moist and delicious, falafel is good as well. Both are probably the best in the area. Lamb is ok but not worth ordering again. Charge extra for feta/cheese. My go to is chicken shawarma. The ambiance is cold, I prefer to take it to go or eat outside. The food is good but the owner she's so pushy on register sales and she was rude when she knew their ice machine was down for fountain drinks, after i paid she said so sorry no ice ok. I said you knew that but didn't say anything and pushed us upgrade to a soda combos to drink warm soda? She said but it comes with fries so it's fine... seriously it's not. My last visit, she started taking our order and answered the phone we were stuck waiting because she didn't tell them to hold. Poor service.

Cute Greek restaurant near UOP. The decor and music made me feel like I was back in Greece always looking for a good gyro and this is the place for it. The cashiers and owners are super nice and make you feel welcomed.
