Global Village Montessori Preschool

Today is our daughter's last day at GMV after being there for 2 1/2 years. We are grateful that she is now ready and well prepared for kindergarten because of GVM. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND GVM to any parent. Our daughter first started at GVM with a speech delay and her speech therapist shared that a Montessori structured school would help. We enrolled her in GVM and are happy with her growth and progression as she has caught up with her speech level for her age. She comes home to talk about and share many stories of her friends, teachers, and the school activities they did for the day. We thank the staff for their dedication, genuine care, patience, and most importantly how they each took the time to really get to know our daughter. Ms. Harpreet, Ms. Mariah, Ms. Keerthi, Ms. Juany, Ms. Poonam, and many others took such great care of our daughter for 2 1/2 years. When we would have the parent/teacher meetings, her teachers would share our daughter's progress and fun stories of how she would be in the classroom. This always made us feel that they knew her, cared for her, and valued her growth/well being.We loved the structure of GVM; appreciated their weekly reports (which included activities the kids did for the week and photos!), their field trips (which were also fun for parents to attend), special events (like the mother/father's day, international day, holiday celebrations) and the extra additional activities offered (which we took full advantage of and signed up our daughter for). The extra activities included soccer, ballet, and hip hop dance classes. Early on we saw our daughter enjoyed performing so it was worth signing her up for the ballet and hip hop classes to continue her love for dance. We also had her try out the soccer classes to expose her to sports. It can be hard to find a place that you could feel safe dropping off your child knowing they will be in good care. We are extremely grateful to have found GVM in Tracy because they took such great care of our daughter.

My son attended GVM from the time he was about 2 1/2 until he turned 4. He had a great experience there and learned so much while being there. The school went through a couple directors when he first started, but the current director, Ms. Poonam, is phenomenal! She has a very sweet and caring nature and truly cares about the kids. All of the teachers there are also great and do a good job of keeping parents informed about any type of changes they see in your child. My son became potty trained at school, before he was fully trained at home. Ms. Poonam does a very good job of planning all types of different celebrations and cultural events for the children to experience and learn about. I was so sad when it was time for my son to leave GVM, but I am so happy that he got to experience being in such a great environment.I would definitely recommend choosing GVM to any parent who is considering enrolling their child.

My husband and I were looking at a couple montessori schools in the area, but we knew since our virtual tour with Ms. Pinkee that GVM was the school we wanted to enroll our daughter in. She was ready with such informative answers for the whole list of questions we had and she was very communicative throughout the enrollment process. When my daughter did so well at her first child observation, this just confirmed that she chose this school herself too :) The enrollment process was very smooth and we were able to get her started the following week after her class observation. Since going to GVM, we can already see what a positive impact it has made on our daughter. We had her right before the pandemic so she hasn't socialized as much as should have been(another reason why we wanted her to start going to school) and after a couple of days, we got an update from the teachers that she has started playing with the other kids. It was just a relief to hear she's having fun and interacting with other kids. The teachers were also sensitive to her eczema when she started, asking us if there is a cream she uses since the kids wash their hands very often and my daughter has shown us how they've taught her how to calm down for nap time. I would 100% recommend enrolling your child here if you're looking for a good montessori school in the area. Looking forward to enrolling my son here when he is of age as well :)

My son has been going to GVM for 2 years now and it is such a sense of security that he is in caring hands. His teachers Mrs. Mariah and Mrs. Shilpa are so patient and nurturing! It is so rewarding when my son comes home and shares the things he's learned - it surprises us that he knows so much. They practice to encourage the children and allow them to develop at their own pace. Mrs. Poonam, the director, is always trying to incorporate different cultures, activities, field trips, etc. which allows the kids to learn in different environments.

I can't imagine sending my son anywhere else for preschool. He's gone from the little kid class to the bigger kids class, and the teachers in both classes are wonderful. Miss Poonam, the director of the school is also wonderful. My son learns so much at school from different cultures, to science, to mindfulness. They really put a lot of effort into the teachings, have great field trips, and great celebrations. I love the sense of community I feel with GVM.

Global Village Montessori is a phenomenal child care provider. I've taught students for thirteen years and immediately recognized that this is the best option in town. It's such a relief to know that my child is in the hands of caring and supporting staff. The kids get to do art projects as well as reading and science activities. They saw butterflies grow, and did an experiment on cloud formations. GVM also holds holiday parties, cultural fairs and even has its own yearbook. My daughter has learned and matured so much from the past year. I also received daily reports that noted what activities she learned and what time she took a nap and how much she ate. I'm very happy with my experiences here.

We moved to Tracy a few months ago and we were worried about our kids transitioning to a new city, new home and new school. We were also worried about our 4 year old re-starting at a new Montessori after taking a long break due to COVID. My husband and I knew what to expect from a Montessori education but called a few places before deciding on Global Village Montessori. From our initial conversations and virtual tour we appreciated that this facility was taking all the precautions they could during COVID. At the time our 4 year old started this school had just reopened and we appreciated the smaller classes at that time. Right after our younger one turned 2 years old, we also enrolled him.The director, Ms. Manjari has been so great at communicating with us and addressing any concerns that we may have had. On both of my children's first days I had follow up calls as I requested to make sure that my children were transitioning well. Ms. Manjari has always answered my questions and is always open to share her own experiences. If you're looking for a Montessori with great communication during drops off and pick up, and also via a monthly newsletter this is a safe and amazing place to send your child. Each week we see our children's work through worksheets and different art projects. The website is also updated with photos with our children. We're so happy we found Global Village Montessori. The teachers really care for our children and help us with difficult situations that may arise. We appreciate their patience and support.

Global Village Montessori is a great school where students learn a wide range of subjects including math, science & geography, practical skills & many more. (It is based on the Montessori method, which emphasizes individualized learning and self-directed activities). The teachers create a warm & supportive environment where students feel valued. The school also regularly hosts events that brings together all teachers,students & parents. GVM is an excellent choice for parents looking for a nurturing & enriching educational experience for their children.

My Daughter started full time here 1 year back, so far good she is enjoying the school, great teachers and wonderful learning programs with fun filling events.

My daughter has been attending GVM for a year and I love having her here. I know she's always safe and being taken care of and she has learned so much from socializing with her classmates to counting and growing her vocabulary. Thank you to her teachers Mrs. Shilpa and Mrs. Mariah for being amazing!
