The place is a pretty cool setup in a very unassuming (easy to miss) building. Max (owner) was kind and accommodating. You can use a Groupon, pick your own playlist, or go off of theirs. Which was like Rob Zombie, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, etc. it was perfect. She had a special little set up for my husband's birthday. They provide protective gear, but you definitely want to come in close toed boots or sneakers. The decompression room afterwards is a nice touch, where they offer water, snacks, colored pencils, and soothing music or white noise. Not sure if the more people they have in the smash room, the more items they put, but my husband and I went through the smash bottles/items faster than we realized, at slightly under 30 minutes. Anyhow, this is something we'd likely come back to with friends.

So much fun letting your inner Hulk out! They provide you with coveralls, goggles, a face shield, and gloves. Wear closed toe shoes that aren't your favorite pair, there will be hella smashed glass. You can request music or they have a Rage Against the Machine type of playlist. You get a variety of tools to smash with and for 30 minutes, you can smash to your heart's content! It is a workout so plan to wear only a tee or a tank under the coveralls, no bulky sweaters or sweatshirts.Afterward you go to the decompression room for water, snacks, and a return to chill mode. It really is cathartic to do a session here, so I highly recommend it, especially if you're feeling super stressed or frustrated!

Great experience at Glass Ceiling. It was so much fun smashing and breaking stuff. Kevinae was great at explaining the process and making sure we had a blast. Highly recommend getting your frustrations out at this place!

I booked through Groupon and the text on Groupons's site was misleading, I had a different expectation on that we were getting upon arrival. However, I reached out the company and they handled it so well. They said they understood, would correct it and offered a discount on our next visit. I don't need the discount, nor will I use it when I rebook directly with them because I think supporting small busniess that are run well is IMPORTANT. On to the experience: Parking / Traffic sucks. Nothing they can do about that. We found street parking one block over. Cullen our host was great! Communicated well, was friendly and cheerful. The rage room allows a premade playlist or listen to your own music, changable colored lights and a variety of weapons. We broke a sledgehammer and recommended that they get a plastic handled one. LOL Overall this is a great activity to get out some of your inner bat shit passion. We will be back again!

This was a more immersive experience than I expected. The room isn't much to look at, but they have color lights and play music, there's a ton of protective gear they provide, and plenty of different tools to use for smashing glass. I quite enjoyed the tire iron and sledge hammer. The experience is so unique and can be whatever you want it to be: therapeutic, stress relieving, a way to rewrite a difficult moment. What surprised me (in a good way) was how they led us into this peaceful room after we finished and took off all our protective gear. The room had peaceful music playing, paper to draw and reflect on provided questions, and sparkling water and snacks. It was a well thought out way to decompress. Disclaimer: wear boots! I definitely had to pick out glass shards from the foam bottoms of my running shoes.

If I could give six stars I absolutely would. It was an amazing experience getting to let out my pent-up rage and break stuff against the wall I particularly enjoyed the sledgehammer and crowbar. The baseball bat was also particularly satisfying. Max was very hospital and took great care of us. After breaking all sorts of stuff we were taken to a decompression room where the ambience was very relaxed and the complete opposite of what I just experienced. She offered us cold drinks which I definitely took her up on and had myself a kind bar. I am now feeling more centered and now that the rage is out of my system I'm feeling happy and ready to take on the rest of the evening I strongly encourage you to check this out.

This place was a lot of fun. Me and a friend who needed some cathartic release after life beat us up went here. Throwing, smashing, breaking, screaming, all to you favorite music until you are too tired to lift the crowbar/hammer/sledge hammer/ metals rod. If the afore mentioned is your thing, go here.P.s. a baseball bat or plates to throw would have been a treat.P.p.s. Can I just bring my recycles to you for a discount!?!

It was a really great experience! Super friendly staff, great way to let off some steam. Highly recommend! Going in we thought thirty minutes was short but fifteens minutes in you get so exhausted from the workout that you realize it's the perfect amount of time.
