Lots of people on weekends. Clean, lots of squirrels. Good to celebrate the holiday, there are big tables in the shade, second tables - near the toilet.

This park is my favorite, so fresh and clean. Love the trees and the play grounds, also the fields are good picnic areas. Big tennis courts. Nice easy trail around the park. Dog friendly. Good for kids.

This park was named after Robert Linus Gibbons on May 19, 1979 during a ceremony and they really have a lot to offer here for children of all ages with a playground for tots and older kids as well, complete with swings, a teeter totter, slides, bridges to walk across, etc.! On Sunday my toddler especially enjoyed the sandbox, scooping and pouring sand into buckets with a shovel and running the sand through her fingers! I noticed they clean the sand regularly too, it's a nice golden brown, with no debris, which is nice compared to some I've seen! I would definitely recommend paying a visit to this community park, it's a nicer area of Carmichael and we'll definitely be back! Maybe even bring a sack lunch to eat at one of their picnic tables or have a little picnic date in the grass, in this warm weather we're having! Since they have a Little Free Library in the park, you leave a book, take a book, I'll bring a book or 2 as well to leave our next visit!

Top notch park, 2 good playgrounds, good trails, 2 tennis courts, bathrooms, lots of trees, multiple large grass areas of soccer and other fun things, lots of picnic tables, etc. I also like the multi purpose room they have for certain events or reservations. This park gives good vibes and memories. Everything is well maintained.

This establishment would definitely get a better rating if security on duty didn't keep her face in her phone with transients interrupting wedding guests.Beautiful and spacious building for large events.

This park is a good place to take the kids or just go for a stroll. It's in a nice neighborhood and there's plenty of shade around and benches. The restrooms were clean too. They have a playground for the smaller kids and one for the big kids. The kids said it's their new fave park.

The best park ever in my life!!!I absolutely love this park for the several reasons.First of all, it is really clean... My son loves going to this park and on top of that it is FREE entrance!!!It is located in the most quiet location of Sacramento, which is Carmichael.I celebrated my son's birthday there, and I did not need to book the event or something, which is really good...There are huge two parking lots, as well as many street parking spaces. You're coming to the park and to the forest and to home when you come there...Restrooms are always really clean. the whole park is very very neat!. I really appreciate the time when I lost control of the clock time and I stayed at the park for longer that I was supped to, and the guy that was supposed to lock the gate did not. I soon as I noticed that someone is about to close the gate, I ran to them, begging to open the gate, but he stated that because of me, he let the gate open, what a generosity.I will always remember this park and I am in love with it, it is calming, peaceful and the first park in my life and with whom I fell in love!

This is such a nice park. It is well kept and they have some really nice playgrounds! If you have children, this is a wonderful place to take your children.I really like that they have nice bathrooms. Sometimes, the bathrooms at parks are simply disgusting. These bathrooms are clean, private, and have adequate materials to wash and dry your hands. Such a nice feature to have a bathroom that allows to feel like you properly cleaned up after using the bathroom. They also have a parking lot specifically for this park. Really nice for people like me whom live farther away and like to come enjoy this beautiful park!
