Giacomo's Espresso

I cannot believe I have never written a review for Giacomo's Espresso. I have been coming here for many, many years and loved it every time. I almost always have a small Mocha Chill, no whipped cream, often with an extra shot. The service is spot on each and every time, love that they ask me for my loyalty card (which they dutifully stamp and initial). The barista is always friendly, the drink done exactly right, and the experience worth repeating. Way back in the day they used to give me the empty metal coffee bean cans which I would take to my classroom for demonstrations (we used atmospheric pressure to crush them much to the delight of my middle schoolers.

This coffee shop is a great option if your trying to move away from more commercial locations. Here are a few additional options, I never see these online.

Always great service. My favorite is the cappuccino chill. Im a simple gal. They have a 32 oz now so me and my boyfriend share it :) its the perfect treat. I don't live in the area anymore but I stop at Giacomos every time i'm in town. Love love them

It's been years since I've been here and I guess I remember why...the service wasn't very friendly and my coffee wasn't very hot. I don't think I've ever had a problem with coffee not being hot enough. Usually I have to wait a bit before sipping not here. And whatever concoction I tried was waaaaaay too sweet. I couldn't drink it. Kinda close to my house but there are better options so I doubt I'll go again. Or at least not anytime soon. I'll try maybe in 6 months. Not impressed and the chick at the window was not friendly or bouncy. She needed a couple shots of caffeine and joy. Don't have a job working with the public if you hate people. You only have to interact a few minutes. I'm sure you can fake it a couple of minutes. Sorry I don't like mornings either but I didn't pick a job serving coffee in a drive thru.

I loveeee this place. The coffee and pastries are so yummy and the crew is very friendly!

Ordered a Turkey sandwich on sourdough bread while waiting for my work van to be hand washed at Vintage Car Wash (they are located inside).The bread was soft and plenty of Turkey, with lettuce tomato & onions.Better than what I thought it would be inside a car wash.Love to try a coffee drink so many selections to choose from.

Good coffee, kind service, no lines. Also, support local! Never had a bad experience.

The barista was so friendly and the coffee was so delicious! I was born and raised in Modesto but I haven't been to Giacomo's until now. Definitely regret not coming before. I ordered the Nutty Roman with Oat Milk and it was sooooooo delicious. 10/10

I've been coming here since I was a teenager I love this coffee spot, they have two drive up windows and the friendliest staff. I love their large coffee menu, and they offer soy!

Delicious coffee, quick and friendly service, and yummy pastries! Wish I would have come here sooner!
