Only drawback here I found is that there isn't a restroom however Grandma was like... you need to use the bano? it's time for us to go! LOL this park is for the people who live in this area so having a restroom isn't their issue.Plenty of areas for the bigger toddlers and the wee ones as well. Not to many people (parents) wearing mask today (we were and so was my 4 year old granddaughter) we were sure to sanitize everything when we got home as there was a lot of people out today kids were well chaperoned. Park was clean and in the wee bit area the swings had the enclosed seat.Respectfully Reviewed

George Park is good for kids - and even adults. I had so much fun sliding back on forth on the track ride! The track ride is the reason why I come here. Of course, to being my daughter too. I feel safe coming here and it is also a very peaceful/quiet neighborhood. The park is a dinosaur theme, is very spacious, and filled with options. There's a basketball park, water park area, sand for "digging up fossil", 2 playgrounds for 2 age groups, a picnic area, and area for walking. The only thing I did not notice here is a bathroom, so make sure you use one before coming.

Elk Grove has so many great parks, but this one definitely has it all! I have a very active 6 and 4 year old and they are always ecstatic when we go to this park! Even their cousins and friends from their age up to 11 love it. I love that it's so big, open, for the most part clean (the tables could use a good wipe down) and in a great neighborhood. Difficult to lose eyes on your child, even if there are a bunch of kids around. They have a smaller children's playground, bigger children's playground, sand area, sitting zip line, lots of equipment to spin individually or as a group, lots of grass space to run, play, soccer, football, baseball and a basketball court. They also have many tables/seating under awnings for shade, or even in the sun if you want some color. It's a dinosaur themed park as they have Dino footprints on the sidewalk, Dino rockers, and during the summer they even have a small water spray area in the shape of a dinosaur's rib cage. The only downside is the water fountain doesn't work very well and no bathrooms. So make sure your kids go before you get to the park! Other than that, definitely one of my top Elk Grove parks and will be one for many more future play dates!

This is probably the best park in Elk Grove! George Park has something for every age! There are two play structures one designed for younger kids 1-4 years and the other for 4-5 years and up. But in all honestly that didn't matter to my kid as both structures had cool features that he enjoyed. In addition there is also a sand area (that is covered). Bring some sand toys and kids can truly lose track of time playing in that area. If your up to it there is also two exercise areas for the adults. Not sure how busy this area gets but when I attended the park it was fairly empty. I would bring gloves if you plan to use this option as not to sure how hot the bars get from the hot summer sun. One feature that my son really enjoyed was the "zip lining". It took him a few tries as he was scared at first but after he didn't want to leave! This park would be perfect to host birthday parties as there is plenty of Picnic tables that are under the shade. There's also a great amount of grass area to put a pop up tent and bring your own table. I'm not sure if you have to reserve this area through Elk Grove or not so make sure you check before you attempt to host here!Only downside is that this park doesn't have a bathroom so it's a must that the kids go before! Also I would be nice if there was a water fountain especially on hot summer days. Overall my kid and I are huge fans of this park and will surly return!

One of the newest neighborhood parks in the City of Elk Grove, California. This 5 acre park was completed in 2017 and is part of the Cosumnes Parks & Recreation Department. This neighborhood park offers local residence covered picnic area/ full basketball court/ 2 playgrounds / jogging trail / exersice area and large open space . I found it appropriate for the theme of the park to be (Fossils) being located on Fossil Way ! Welcome to Elk Grove ! Enjoy !

George Park is a great park to bring your little ones to for hours of play! The design of the park is dinosaur theme with dinosaur feet imprinted into the concrete too!I was introduced to this park by my aunt and younger cousin, they referred to it as the "zip line park". Not really zip lining but the rope where they sit on a round disc, going from one end to another. Many play structures to keep your kids active like:-a playground for the younger kiddos -bigger playground for older kiddos-sand pit with a water or sand table -multiple individual structures to spin, bounce & ride, and run on-fake grass area to have toddlers run around in or practicing gymnastics stunts like our daughter ;) -basketball court-two separate structures to use while working out, something similar to Morse Park (near the dog park area) -dinosaurs rib cage to run through and I believe for warmer weather water squirts out too A bit further near the back of Elk Grove near Bilby Road, but totally worth the drive since we were there for over an hour with 4 kids!

A park that's portrait looking when looking above, interesting layout. Basketball courts, exercise areas, trails, and water fountains that are spread around, encourages to be more active.Playgrounds, as with many recently bulit playgrounds in Elk Grove, have a bright, colourful enviroment, many structures are very enjoyable, in particular the zipline, as it gives a cool breeze and a nice view of the playground section of the park along the way to the next point.

A favorite park of ours! A bit of a trek fur us across town but so worth it. The zip line and spinning toys are a hut with my kids. Along with the slide with rollers. There's a smaller kid playground and a larger kid one, along with a sand area. Great covered picnic tables and a large grassy area.

We are on a mission to try a new park everyday and this one was great! It has a playground for smaller children one for older children and shade right in the middle. You can pretend to take up fossils in a shaded play sand area. No complaints here nice and clean. Just be aware the older kids playground has a couple of hazardous areas for young children, signs will let you know this anyways but just in case you let your kids run free in both areas be aware.
