I would not recommend this location for dwelling. It's extremely noisy as their windows do not block outside noise. You need to purchase a noise machine in effort to block out the noise cars and trucks traveling up and down Grantline road make "ALL" day long. I could only handle 7 months of this noisy apartment complex, I had to get out. I had to use ear plugs to sleep at night. To make it even worst, if you lose your key fob and it's after 6pm. You might as well get a hotel as there is no 24/7 support. I was told I'd have to get a locksmith and break the lock to get it. You then have to replace the broken lock at your expense. Terrible service and no support. Please beware this complex is not a place I would recommend. Get something away from a major street and an office who cares a little. Good luck and be well.

I reviewed this complex 1 year ago and I'd like to wrap up my final thoughts for living at Gateway Station. I've read some of the previous reviews and I've got to say that I've had a completely different experience than half of the Yelpers. 1. As far as parking, I've never had an issue with it. I lived in the complex from April 2020-April 2022. If you want guests to stay overnight you just have to ask for a parking pass, they ALWAYS complied with me. I think it's entirely reasonable for the complex to have strict rules in guest stays.2. Noisey? Not at all, and I lived right next to the park. Of course you'll hear the children playing while their parents supervise. That's normal. If you choose to live in apartment, and you aren't restricted to the first floor due to disabilities then I recommend you live on the 3rd floor. Only time I ever heard my neighbors is when they shut their doors. The front doors do slam pretty hard, they are heavy.3. I kept my thermostat at 69 degrees in summer and 71 in winter. I lived in the 1 bed, 1 bath, 726sqft unit. My bill only ranged from $29-$85. My shared water bill averaged between $55-65 a month. The central heat/air is in great shape, the water heater and pressure is also wonderful. Very harsh water, so prepare for staining. Nothing a quick clean-up can't fix.4. Management accommodated the hell out of my stay. Apartment management can be a nightmare, luckily this was not the case for me. I'm so grateful for what they've done on their end to help me. So thank you, Shelby. Their responses are timely, maintenance staff is very friendly, so I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from in regards to the staff? They always said hello with a smile.5. Pigeons. They are true pests and probably the only negative part about my living situation. They've taken over Tracy in general and they unfortunately took over my balcony. All in all, I was very sad to say goodbye to my apartment today. I highly recommend Gateway Station. It's a beautiful apartment, updated, spacious, and has a great layout.

I currently live here. If I can give it ZERO stars I would... Let's start off by before we moved in we Asked about parking and Laura said it was great. I've lived at an apartment before this and although the inside is nice and obviously new, the parking is HORRIBLE! You do not get your own parking slot. If you want Guaranteed parking you would have to pay $175 for a parking garage. To me it's really high compared to other apartments in the area where their parking garage is only $75-$100 a month. Mind you, you're only limited two parking permits for a 2bd 1bath or 2 bath. You do NOT get guest parking passes. If you have a guest come over or travel far and stay for a couple days or week, they can not park in our apartment complex. The receptionist recommended me to have them park all the way down Byron where there are residential areas and to make sure it doesn't say "no parking" so you'd have to drop their car off and bring them back. * sarcasm coming up * how nice when I just had my baby and my mom has to come 3 days out of the week to stay sometimes and watch my baby when I work and commute to and from the Bay Area. The towing company WILL come and tow your car if you do not have a permit. I was 8 months pregnant and came home late and I'm not joking when I say there was ZERO parking, me and three other cars WITH parking permits were driving around for more than 30 minutes to find parking. AND I still didn't find parking, I literally parked between two handicap parked cars and had to write " don't tow my truck please I'm 8 months pregnant, I live here and there are NO parking" THIS apartment complex only wants their money, they can give a fuck if you or your loved ones gets towed or the own residents have parking. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Parking is important. And I find myself parking far away from my door ALL the time. Amenities, we pay $2100, when we first moved In everything was open pool & gym. In April everything closed. We PAY for the gym and pool in our rent we should be refunded a certain amount for not being able to use it. I get it, it's covid, but that rent is part of the amenities that we can't use. ALSO,workers that come and do maintenance most of them look like they got them off the side of the road. They don't dress professionally, they literally looked like they rolled out of bed. I would not let them come in when I'm not home to fix a damn thing. I can't wait until my lease is up. This place is a joke.BTW since I moved in, in March my cabinet in my kitchen has had bubbles on them like they're not completely sealed and I reported it the day I moved in and they said they'll come soon in a few weeks to a couple of months because of covid and they never came to fix it. THANKS gateway. When we moved in these apartments barely opened not even a year so we didn't have anyone below us above us or on our floor which is the 2nd floor. I asked for the ground level because I was 5 months pregnant at the time, but they said there wasn't one available. I asked for the third level because I'd much rather be at the top then to be on 2nd floor and they also said none were available. and that residents were moving in that month (March) and April. They lied, I talked to the lady on top when they moved in during June! And the others started moving in around the same time. Others moved in after them ON the third floor. I feel that they were keeping the top open to make it easier for them to "fill" their apartments. And got rid of the shitty 2nd floors. Now the inside, they have these "smart" bathroom fans that turn on when you're in the bathroom and using the shower, well guess what they turn on automatically during the night (which they're not silent) throughout the day and randomly when you just go to the bathroom to use it or get tissue or just to brush your teeth and they stay on. So your electricity is just going. My PG&E bill has never been more then $65 -at my previous homes and here all my months my bills have been between $130-$175!Garbage area. ALWAYS A MESS, granted everyone should pick up after themselves and make sure they're garbage makes it. But wow they are ALWAYS full so I get why sometimes it's out of the garbage disposal can.DOGS they have a weight limit but I've seen SO many dogs over the weight limit. Which to me is FUNNY. I don't care about it but the list goes on and ON. The worse part is the parking for me, this place can suck it. Save your $2,100-$2,600 and find a NICE home. I jumped to fast for this!

Review of Gateway Station ApartmentsOverall, I enjoyed my time at Gateway Station. The amenities were nice, the appliances were updated, and the complex was clean. However, parking near the unit was challenging at times. They do have pigeons, but the staff frequently clean the building and do their best to deter them. The staff were always available and helpful.Initially, I planned to give them 5 stars after moving out. However, I am rating them lower to ensure that future tenants are aware of their security deposit policy. I lived there for 3 months and spent multiple hours on my last day cleaning my unit. Despite this, they only returned 43% of my $700 deposit. All other units I lived at in the past always returned the deposit. Be aware, that they will bill you for any work needed to flip the unit and plan on not getting your deposit back.

I have lived her 2 years now and leaving. Way to many appliances issues. The appliances are so cheap, they constantly break down. Numerous calls to fix the dishwasher, the wash machine, the a/c system, the refrigerator. Repeat. Management was nice about it "at first" but them developed a punitive attitude towards us calling in another maintenance issue. As if it was our fault? Don't move here!

Whatever you do, don't move here. People having parties with loud music around 12am, cars with loud exhaust driving around all day and night, and slow I mean very slow management. Idk what they're doing in the office but they take forever to respond to anything. Never picks up the phone and if you ever request for a service lol it takes minimum 3 days for them to even do anything. I needed new air filter for the ac after the fires and it took them 3 days to just give me the wrong one lol they constantly make new rules with "we will evict you if you don't follow". Garbage area is disgusting, always over flowing. Dead pigeons here and there and of course no one cleans it. When we first moved in my apartment was disgustingly dirty, walls weren't painted all the way, living room light wasn't working, and pigeon poops all over the balcony. When I told them about this Brook said "oh I'll put in a request but it's going to take about 3 days" like seriously? Shouldn't this have been done before I moved in? Walls are very thin here. I can even hear the next doors phone vibrating lol also the stove is the worse stove I've ever used. It has a heat sensor and it will turn off when it thinks it's too hot which makes no freaking sense. So trying to cook anything in high heat will fail. Also the bathroom fan has a sensor that turns on randomly and is very loud. Light will turn off when it doesn't sense movement for a certain period of time which is very annoying when trying to work or study at home.Parking is a huge issue here. If you come home after 6pm good luck on finding any place. Also they say no guest after 6pm which is ridiculously annoying. Yet there are unmarked cars all over the parking lot. One thing I thought that was really weird is my pg&e bill is easy 160$ idk why because I've never paid this much before even when I lived in SJ. Overall n this place is super dirty inside and out. Management is very slow and the built very poorly.

This place is filled with roaches everywhere, they are crawling in the pool all over the ground in the pet wash station and the worst in your apartment. Despite how clean my apartment is there has been several roaches in my apartment. The apartment complex seem fine with it as well no other compensation than to have a exterminator come in (which I have ) and the roaches still come back. I was told by one of the ladies in the office "yeah that's a problem here"

Full honesty here. Get ready for a mini novel. TLDR: Great space, minimal noise, management is AMAZING, maintenance is a 4.5/5, security is questionable. Apartments: Gated community. Very spacious living spaces with high ceilings. Stainless steel appliances. You can tell they cheaped out some (flooring and cabinets), but all very functional. Walls are pretty thick. The only area that you could probably hear noise is the front door. My neighbors next door were blasting music, but I could only hear it when I was at the entrance of my apartment. I never had an issue with parking. I work super late. I NEVER had an issue. Management: EXCELLENT - ONE OF THE BEST TEAMS I HAVE EXPERIENCED. I was living in the apartment itself about 2-5 days a week depending on work. Because of my schedule, management was ALWAYS accommodating and made things WORK for ME. They were ALWAYS prompt to respond. Example: I was gone on a work trip for a week and a package of mines had a delivery date change. I contacted the office and they stored the package until I was able to pick it up. When I came by the office to pick up the package, they simply said, "It's a big package, don't worry about it. We will have someone bring it up to your third floor apartment". WOW. Props to BROOKE and BEKAH for always being AMAZING. They deserve raises, honestly. Maintenance: Nice people and always prompt. They arrived on the dates that they were scheduled. The one thing that did not sit well with me was that when they came in to fix a leaky pipe, they left a bucket over the area and turned off all my water. :( Fortunately, the manufacturing company was able to come by the next day to fix the pipe. They said it was just a loose pipe and fixed it instantly! I didn't have to stay smelly for long. Security: Meh. VERY QUESTIONABLE. One time I heard screaming outside and I was scared. I called the security line and the lady simply said, "Call back at 9 PM when the security guard comes and does his drive by". I said, "Uhh, it's 8 PM. You want me to wait an hour?" She said, "Maybe you should call 911". I'll stop there. During my vacate process: When I left, they took out a reasonable amount from my deposit (unlike some apartments which will take the whole deposit and then some). They gave me proof of statements as well. I received my remaining deposit in less than 2 weeks. Overall, I would say probably about 4.5-4.7 stars. The only reason why I am leaving is because of a job change. Otherwise, I would've stayed.
