The family had a great time. Make sure you arrive EARLY if you are going on the weekend! Cars start to line up to get into the parking lot a good 20 minutes before the farm opens. G&M is very budget-friendly because there is no admission fee or parking fee. So as you can imagine, a lot of people come here and you might need to wait in line for popular attractions like the cow ride. Because we arrived early, we were lucky enough to hop on one of the first few cow rides without waiting in line at all and my son had a blast! The activities they have all cost a token ($5) per person with the exception of the pony ride which is two tokens ($10). The kids liked the jump pads, but there is a time limit (something like 7 minutes?) for how long they can jump when the farm is busy. My sister told me one time she came on a weekday, and they let her daughter jump as long as she wanted. The kids had fun with the mini hay maze and the corn kernel pit. But for some reason, my allergies started flaring up around the corn pit (probably because there was a lot of corn being scooped and thrown around). Not going to lie, this kind of ruined the rest of the day for me since I began sneezing non-stop. So PSA to those people who are affected by seasonal allergies: take your allergy medicine before you come!!!Pro tip: there are multiple stands where you can purchase tokens if you run out. The one near the parking lot tends to have a long line as people begin arriving. But if you walk past the pumpkin patches towards the central area, there is another token stand near the entrance to the cow ride that you can buy tokens at too! I observed the line here generally will be shorter than the one in front of the parking lot.

The corn maze is a great spot for the kids to run around, get lost, etc. Clues guide you toward the next set of clues, and ultimately to the exit. Upon exit, there are inflatable jumpies because the kids likely didn't burn off all their energy. Taco trucks nearby and picnic tables. Good place to spend a couple of hours.Take note:Parking is cramped on the weekends. If you have small kids, make sure they go to the bathroom before they enter the maze.

Honestly, I was going to give it 4 stars, but my partner says I should give it 5 stars, so here we are. Haha. We came here yesterday afternoon, specifically for the corn maze. It is split into two parts. First part is shorter and easier than the second one. Before you start, they have an aerial picture of the maze that people were taking to use as a guide. We decided to not do that as a challenge. There were also the many previous years pics too, so that was cool to see all the different patterns they have done. At first, my partner stated $10 a person seemed a bit pricey for a corn maze. But then during the beginning of the first half, there is a some stairs and you can climb up to have a bit of an elevated view. We soon realized this corn maze is huge and not some kiddy thing. At this time, he said never mind it is worth the $20 for us! There are some trivia stands which give clues on left/right, but again we like a challenge and opted out from reading them. First part wasn't too hard. In the middle of the second half, we got stuck and was lost. We kept going in circles. It was hot and we were thirsty without any water. We finally found a trivia/clue stand and ended up using it for the rest of the maze. Happy to be done as we got tired. Spent over an hour in here, so it was a good use of the $20. There were also a pumpkin patch and some other things for kids. We did not see the others as we realized we spent more time than we thought and had some other plans. He said he thinks he saw pony rides and some kid rides.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. Have always loved this maze and the staff are always friendly. Parking lot is always full when they are open! Just shows you how much people love going there. Tradition to go every year.

First time at G&M Farms and it didn't disappoint! I read it was one of East Bay's best corn maze and had a bunch of other fun activities for kids (cow train, pumpkin patch, jumpy thing, hay maze, corn pit - kids love that). Very popular with families, come earlier when opens at 10am for less crowds. Corn maze was fun, split into two halves, first half shorter and second half longer. At the beginning there is an aerial picture of the maze you can take a picture of and use as a guide if you get lost (we challenged ourselves not to use it). First half had a little bridge you can climb up for an elevated view but you still can't tell the path anyways. There are some trivia stands which give clues on left/right. Spent about 40 minutes total. $10/adult. Pay cash to avoid the 30 cents per person credit card processing fee. Enjoy food from food trucks onsite, or head over to nearby Livermore Outlets or Ranch 99 Plaza for lunch options.

I came with a group of friends. None of us had been here before. Pros: admission Free, free parking, strong pumpkin selection, ample seating with picnic style tables Cons: -no real food options. We saw some families bring their own picnics. -$7 corn dog of gas station quality - Icees. They had small and large(more like a grande cup) but refused to give us a Large bc they said they were too busy so were only doing smalls. So I guess they couldn't spend the extra 30 seconds to fill a large. Disappointing. It was also a super hot day! They only had cherry or the blue one. No coke option. -they had 2 food trucks near the corn maze. There's poor directions throughout and I only knew about the trucks bc I had read ahead of time about this. Most folks got stuck at this snack booth bc they thought it was the only food option and also most of the kid attractions are here. - they had a kernel pit for the kids. Small in size but people crammed like sardines. Um, no thank you. This seemed to be the only free attraction for kids, which explains why it was so packed. Everything else you pay for. I saw pony ride, tricycle ride, jumper thing near the corn maze, and a tractor thing that did a small loop.We did the corn maze @$10/person. It was incredibly hot this day and just made the whole maze experience so tiring. For $10 they could include a water bottle with it bc the last thing you want to deal with is a person who fainted. Overall, if you have kids, this place will be fun for them. But if you're just a group of friends like us with no kids, you're only thing to do is the corn maze and then after that you're pretty much done for the day. It's not a big place. They could benefit from a haunted house or something for adults to do. A hard cider tasting flight, more food options. Overall, I would not return here.

An east bay pumpkin patch classic. Pros:Free admission, decent pricing for attractions (most rides are $5/person, $10 for the corn maze), tons of picnic seating, some food vendors, free corn kernel pit and smaller hay maze for the kiddos, good selection of pumpkins, sufficient porta potties, and even some farm animalsMain downsides- it gets crowded, so you'll want to get here as early as you can. The hay ride was short and barely lasted 5 minutes. There is very little shade- so you'll want to come on a cooler day.

Free parking and free entrance! Lots of things to do for the whole family like corn maze, jump beds, hay maze, tractor rides, and more. All attractions, with the exception of the corn maze, take tokens which you can buy at $5 for 1 token. Hardly anything was in the shade, so if you go when it's hot, bring plenty of water and a hat. Such a wide range of pumpkins too! And it was all reasonable prices. The pumpkins were nice and round. Nothing was rotten or misshaped. Definitely a great go-to for the fall season with the whole fam bam! Enjoy!

Came here for the pumpkin patch and we had just the best time!! We started with the corn maze and we're so impressed with the set up. They change the maze every year to look like different artwork and they have all the previous designs laid out before you enter the corn maze. It's very cool. The maze is $10/person for anyone over 5 years old. It took us maybe 40 minutes and we were somehwhat taking our time. There are cute clues along the wah to help you decide which way to go and the kids got so excited about these. I also appreciated that the maze wasn't SO difficult that we were stuck in there for hours or going around in circles forever. We then looked into the rides and those are a little on the expensive side, but we decided it was worth it and bought 6 tokens ($5/token) and that way each child will have two rides and mom and dad could have one each. We went on the cow train and the girls did the pillow trampoline thing. The cow train had a decent line (we came on a Saturday night), but we got on in about 30 minutes and it was a fun and fast 5 minute ride going through the corn and on these fun dirt bumps. The girls had a blast and mom and dad went on this as well and we enjoyed ourselves! The girls loved jumping in the pillows and stayed there for about 5 minutes as well. We didn't end up buying a pumpkin, but I felt we spent enough there. We definitely would like to come back here next Halloween and maybe when our kids are a little older we can do the haunted corn maze!
