Fritz Grupe Park

I was looking for a park to have a romantic 1st picnic with my honey. This is a nice, clean park tucked in a quiet residential neighborhood. Has many shade trees, picnic tables, exercise station, and a play area for the kids. Great to walk around, only downside we didn't see a restroom, but we enjoyed our time here and look forward to visiting in the future.

I was looking for a safe park to do my walking. I asked around and was said this park was a good one. So when I went there, it was much better then I expected. It is quite spacious, tons a space for different activities, picnics, a great playground, swings, monkey bars, a basketball court and softball court too.No body acting rowdy, and most of all for me, there's a walking trail. Even had someone with a cart selling real fruit drinks. The park is a beautiful one. As the sun starts to set, there's a nice breeze as I wined down from my walk. This will be my favorite park in Stockton

This has become my favorite Stockton park. It is safe, quiet, has a great playground and a huge variety of monkey bars which is a must for my daughter. It has a ton of grass, a nice sidewalk to walk on, even a exercise area for adults aside from the basketball court. We frequent this park often, all of the children and parents always are friendly. There is a bathroom but it is quite a distance from the playground. That is the only disadvantage. It is a small price to pay for an amazing park.

Great park. Close, quiet, and plenty of shade and tables!! LOTS to do! Walks outside around the park is beautiful with a nice path around the lake! Bbqs and reserved grounds for a party! Parking is convenient and plentiful.

Great, safe park. Softball, basketball, swings, and just a nice place for a picnic. I love this place to meet friends going on our little walks. I believe the walk around the lake is about 2 miles. Check it out on a nice sunny day

Great place to have softball practice. Most of the field area were we practice was leveled and no unexpected holes in the ground. By 7:30pm the shade started to set in and on a hot day that was great. Before starting any practice make sure there is no glass around the diamond area. My friends that arrived early said they pick up broken glass on the diamond area. I recommend no sliding in case there is still glass out there. There should be a built in designated soccer area too. A coach decided to set up practice right behind the diamond we were practicing making it dangerous to his players that were all under the age of ten. No one was hurt but a few balls fell into their practice area. Overall, this park was very active with walkers, runners, kids on the playground, and people of all ages practicing different sports. It felt safe. I gave it three stars due to the glass on the floor.

It was strange it was Easter Sunday and the Park was full of kids but it was as if they where told to use there inside voices? IDK . When my daughter,granddaughter & myself got to the. Park we came to play the uppity people didn't like us : ( O and the potty should be closer to the playground.

This review could have been a 4 star one if they would just fix the restroom! Disgusting! There is standing water on the floor of the women's room, one toilet doesn't flush, the other one has no seat, there's no toilet paper, there is trash all over the floor, and it's so dark in there that you need a flashlight! And there is just the one restroom for the whole park. The park itself is pretty decent. There is a tennis court, basketball court, playground, picnic area, softball fields, big grass area for other sports or play, and a walking path that goes around the park. There were bags of garbage set next to garbage cans, and some broken glass along the path. That, plus the condition of the restroom makes me wonder how often it's maintained.

I love this park is very clean and fresh and good for running or go with the kids because have a little playground for kids 1 to 5 years and another one for kids to bigs come here and try yourself !! I recommend this park for a party's and camping day
