I was passing through Modesto and stopped by for a bite at Frida's. This was my first time here. I ordered queso birria tacos, a regular beef taco, horchata, and flan. The birria portioning was perfect, great balance of cheese & meat. The consome was to die for. Perfect in every way possible. Flavorful, heat, and warmth. The beef taco was juicy and incredibly flavorful! You can tell the proteins they are using are high quality. The horchata was not overly sweet which i really appreciated. The flan was decadent and creamy! Inside was incredibly clean and nicely decorated with the Frida theme! Staff was kind and service was very pleasant! Overall def recommend and hope to be back soon!

I stopped by to grab a bite and so happy I found this little place. My first time here and asked the server what he suggests. "Try the birria tacos." Do I did just that!I got two tacos and it came with a tiny serving of broth that was REALLY good! The tacos were stuffed full of beef, onions, cilantro, and loads of cheese. It was delicious!I have no issues recommending this place of the birria tacos!

Saw this place had great reviews and are known for their quesabirria so I ordered it. It had great flavor and was filled with a decent amount of meat. They also give you free chips and salsa which is great! If you like spicy, they will give you a spicier chili oil which has a decent kick. I enjoyed the food. The worker was knowledgeable, friendly and food was made quickly.

I can't believe this place has been hiding under my nose for 3 years.I was looking for a new Mexican restaurant that I haven't been to yet, and this one stood out from all the rest. What caught my attention was the quesabirria pizza. I dont know where I have been, maybe under a rock, but birria is new to me, let alone a quesabirria pizza.The quesabirria pizza gets a 10 out of 10.I couldn't improve it anymore other than maybe adding sour cream to put on it. But that's all I would add. It's amazing. I must try.The birria taco was also flawless.Salsa was on point, and Nachos had so many toppings that we had to use a spoon or fork at times. Which incase you didn't know is a good thing.The horchata was good but not great. That's just my preference. The place is super clean and is now going to be a regular spot to visit. The menu is not super big. That means they can concentrate on making everything good, which they did.They make the food to order, so it takes a little longer to come out, but it's fresh, and you can taste it. It's worth the wait

We were lucky enough to get a parking space almost in front of the restaurant. We walked in and were greeted immediately by being asked if we wanted to eat in or order to go. When we said eat in, we were given our choice of tables. It looked like most of their tables are high tops and of the two low tops, one was already occupied. We took the other one. The server dropped off menus as well as chips and salsa. He then offered to take our drink orders while we decided what food to order. After he dropped off our drinks, he came back with his ordering tablet. She got a Carne Asada Super Burrito - 4 - Overall, she liked the size, the meat was tender, and that there was avocado. The one downside was she felt the burrito was a bit bland. Chile Verde Plate - 4 - Very good. I'm a freak. I like a little bit more fat on my pork. Loved the beans. Rice was so-so, but like I said, I'm a freak. Prices were reasonable; service was excellent; one of the servers gave us a portion of Flan along with two spoons to take with us and told us that he hoped to see us again soon.

Was craving some menudo for the weekend. Decided to stop by. It looks newly remodeled and has cute decor vibes. The menudo was tasty and it comes with handmade tortillas which was a plus! I ordered a michelada and it came with a couple of shrimps. Whatever sauce was on them, was delicious! It did take a while for them to come out but they were good. There was only one server and was barely checked up on. But other than that, everything was good!
