Freedom park we can around 3 and it was full of kids and mommies
Freedom Park, as seen on Google Earth, looks like the Statue of Liberty.
For the bigger kids
Spring like fountains
Nice floor
Play ground was wet and the kids that were dry definitely got wet when going down the slide
Water feature was in full working condition wen we got here around 3 on Thursday
Ahh. Another hole.
Needs some TLC.

Very nice, clean. You can tell it is a nice place... surrounded by solid. single family well-kept homes. Restrooms are better than at an average park.

My kids love this park. There's nice shade for parents to sit and be able to watch their kids play. We spent 4 hours here the other day.

This park used to be great once upon a time; however, the rubber floor has holes everywhere and some swings are missing. The play area is not so clean either. It looks like this place never received any TLC or maintenance. The sprinklers/fountains look nice but I am not sure how sanitary the water is. The picnic table / eating area has a nice gazebo-like covering. Some more picnic tables along the sidewalk but they need some cleaning. The grass is very well kept and clean ironically; the entire park is getting old and dirtier but the grass still looks great. Older kids (middle schoolers) play in the fountain and and then climb all over the park slides, etc making it all wet and unsafe for little kids. It's nice for a picnic but I wouldn't recommend bringing your kids here to play on the playground equipment.

This park has had it's high and lows. After Using the Modesto GoApp, the parks division fixed all the rubber areas and did their best to reinforce the areas heavily used around the play equipment. I rarely see rift raft or trouble at this park, nor homeless trying to take over this park. I feel safe taking my kids here so far, more then I can say about other parks in Modesto. The water feature gets turned on from 2p to 5pm in the Summers so kids can play, since the City destroyed all the community pools at most parks. (They just cant manage money well fir many factual reasons)When the Junior high kids get out at around 230pm, be aware it can be chaotic for little children.

This park S U C K E D. I appreciate what they had, but it has not been well taken care of AT ALL.I can tell that in its "hey day" this park was really nice. The playground was completely worn out, swings were missingEven my kids were like, "Lets go, this is the most boring park in the world"We had only been there not even 5 minutes.I love they had the "red white and blue" and the stars all over to represent freedom, but shit, did they mean Freedom from maintenance?Goood Night...There is this area there that has all these rocks in them, it looks like it used to be filled with water, but I can understand that due to the severe drought conditions in California that it would be dried out. They do have bathrooms on site, but I didn't go in them. NO WAY, I thought to myself, if the playground isn't being well kept, what makes me think the bathrooms are?

This park is okay. My daughter broke her arm at this park and no one cared! They took down the swings after we complained! It's not very clean and they don't update stuff. There used to be two slides next to the monkey bars and now it's just wood and a kid could break that wood at any time and fall down! The water is gross and so are the bathrooms. Please update, clean, and make it more accessible for children! And please don't let bikes be here. My bike got stolen. And please get rid of the rocks! My son fell down into the rocks and broke his leg and dislocated his elbow and fractured his wrist! He also got a concussion and had to go to the ER! Get rid of the rocks!

Went by today. My daughter loved it so much she didn't want to leave. The children play a little dangerous but it's all child play and fun. The only negative is, none of the play structure are in the shade!!!!! The structures are melting hot in the sun. Had to use the water from the splash area to cool it off enough. At least there's that. All in all I felt this was a safe place for my child. I love that there are plenty of benches so I can see my daughter play. Parents were hands off and not paying attention, which as a parent I'm happy they can take their eyes off the children while they play, but my daughter needs a little more special attention, thankfully I don't mind stepping in to help the children play fairly and to give my daughter space. They were all really friendly but a little too friendly for my daughter. She's only 4 and a covid baby so she's still getting used to crowds lol. All in all this is a great place for parties, they have a gazebo area, not too large possibly 20 no more than that unless you bring your own seating. The open field is a great place for outdoor games like soccer, football, basketball, Frisbee, rollerblading etc. Great place for children to cool off in the summer and safe setting.
