Went here with my niece to kill some time. Location: central, easy parking (weekday am) I drove by it twice because there is no visible signage that states the actual name of the Café.Location is small and quaint. There was quite a few people in there for a midweek morning. You can tell that most of them are regulars/locals.The menu serves breakfast and lunch options. The food was good, nice portions, potatoes were nice and crispy. I would definitely recommend

I had been on a bit of a cheeseburger kick at the time that I came here. I was on the hunt for the best cheeseburger in the general area. Unfortunately, when I got to this place I ended up receiving a sub par cheeseburger. I'd say a bit below average. Was a little burnt, very dry, and poorly placed in the container so the bun was kind of smashed. I will say that the fries were decently crispy at least. Now generally my reviews are more about dine-ins. In general I feel that's more fair. But then I do to-go orders like this. I'm parked right by the restaurant to I can eat it at peak freshness. Keeping all that in mind, the overall quality should not have decreased drastically enough to justify the cheeseburger being that sub par. Now they are sort of a small restaurant so I feel compelled to give them another chance eventually.

Franks is such a great breakfast spot but ALWAYS packed! I recommend going early to ensure you have a shorter wait time. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options. If you are Portuguese, you'd be pleased to know there are a couple Portuguese options on the menu. We all enjoyed our food and were served very quickly. The servers are all attentive and helpful in regards to the menu. Overall, a great little cafe for breakfast in Manteca! I would highly recommend!

Came here with the fam after our stay in Great Wolf Lounge. We got seated promptly and they asked if we would like Coffee. Which my mom and I said, "of coarse."After browsing the menu, we all decided to order something different. The food was really good, but the winner was the coffee with hot chocolate. That drink was really, really good. Overall, great place to come and have brunch with. Great service as well.

Chocolate de abuela so good taste homemade. I asked for no whip. The food was so freaking good that I didn't take a pic I got the waffle combo and it did not disappoint!

We checked out Frank's for breakfast on the way back home to Sacramento this morning! It's located in a cute little area right in downtown Manteca. The inside is small with a few tables inside and outside with that old school diner feel.We ordered the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito, French Toast and the Downtown Omelette. All the food was very good and were large portions as well! We loved how the chorizo was not greasy and I loved the uniqueness of their coffee options like the Mexican Chocolate Iced Coffee. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. They were hustling around and making sure all of the orders were coming out fast. We will definitely visit the next time we are in town!Check them out!

Yelp helped me find this gem. My friend and I were looking for a quick lunch and didn't want to go to a chain. We arrived 40 minutes prior to closing, welcomed in and ordered a mimosa. We both enjoyed BLTs with fries - delicious! The lunch was just what we were hoping for.

What better way to have lunch than in the pouring rain outside of Frank's Downtown Cafe! This is a tiny cafe so seating is pretty limited and there are a few tables outside with some cover and heaters. Although if the weather isn't too great it can be pretty rough. Customer service wise a little hit or miss depending on who is serving you, but overall it is solid. Downtown Manteca isn't loaded with a ton of options, but this is one of the busier places to eat for breakfast/lunch.I ordered the Downtown Omelette ($17) and Belgian Waffle ($11). I also ordered the english muffin with the omelette and I should've taken a pic because the amount of butter was unreal. They probably were like would you like some english muffin with that butter of yours? I couldn't even eat it because it was dripping everywhere in melted butter. The omelette was fine, but a little overcooked. I loved the hash browns though. They had a nice crisp on the outter park and had a nice flavor. The Belgian Waffle is pretty standard. Both dishes had a huge portion which is probably the biggest appeal. The waffle was good although could be a little crispier. Overall wasn't in love with the food here, but it was worth a try.

The food and service was awesome. Sitting outside on a nice day was the best. Reasonably priced. Great for a family breakfast.

This is a small little downtown spot but don't let that fool you! I always get the breakfast sandwich which is to die for! There is outdoor seating if you choose. Definitely a great eatery!
