Four Seasons Buffet

Went on a Saturday morning and had a fantastic brunch/lunch experience. Very clean establishment. The waitresses are on it, great they keep our drinks full in this triple digit heat and they we're constantly coming by to pick my parties plates. They have a good selection of sushi, plenty of seafood options. They also have more desserts than they used at their previous location across the street. Overall this is a decent Chinese buffet that has some Japanese and other dishes. Looking forward to going back on a weekday to try their egg foo young. As they don't make it on Saturdays. We were also bummed out that they didn't have any pepper steak on a Saturday. Maybe it's a also a week day thing?

A little expensive in my opinion for what is offered. $16 for lunch and the options were not very good

Best Chinese all you can eat in Modesto! Lots of variety. Eat your heart out. Waiters are friendly and will come around and ask for refills. Place is always busy. So come early.Restaurant is a hometown buffet atmosphere. Nothing was changed inside besides the ownership. Also, what Chinese buffet restaurant have you seen that is decent and clean? Really none.

The welcoming staff was very friendly and you could eat all you want without being judged, they had different variety's of foods in separate sections. It was very affordable as well!

Bathrooms are dirty food was okay not many options for non seafood eaters .. many items where not refilled

Been meaning to try this buffet out for many years but haven't gotten the chance until now for dinner.This use to be Hometown Buffet, but went out of business and gave birth to this Four Seasons Buffet. Liked that they have a decent parking lot with plenty of available spaces, have hand-sanitizer and thin plastic gloves for COVID safety and compliance, and the staffs are pretty friendly and accommodating! This place is unique compared to other typical Chinese buffets in that it has 6-7 choices of soup to choose from (clam chowder, egg flower, hot-n-sour, wonton, + more). Also, it has a few variety of American items (roast beef/steak & ribs) + some Italian....although not sure what the Italian items were?! Came late around 7pm, which by then some of their trays were left emptied...Brings me to my dislikes: By 7pm, seems they no longer refill the emptied food trays despite plenty of time before closing at 9:30pm. Also, a lot of the trays seem to have mostly old and leftover food appearing dry or stale. Considering having to pay a higher price for dinner (vs lunch), one would expect better food quality and refills of the emptied tray. For instance, higher price accounts for items such as oysters. Upon arrival, I took the 2 remaining oysters and never again saw more oysters back for the night - felt disappointed :(...Me love oysters! Might still return to try again when nothing else better to eat and in a mood for this location.

We went here for my daughter's 23rd birthday. She loves sushi, and the rest of us are so so on sushi. I read reviews of this place and found out they had a good variety of things other than just sushi and fish.We were not disappointed as we walked in at 5:30, we're seated immediately, and our drink orders were taken. My first round I went ahead and got some fruit, some hibachi chicken, some coleslaw and a few other items. My son got an oddcollection of things including egg rolls. My husband had mostly Chinese food.My daughter went to town having the sushi, shrimp, and other fish delicacies. We all ate until we were stuffed, and then headed for the dessert bar. A wonderful selection of fresh food, that they kept coming. We saw them regularly refreshing all the dishes. And finally when we were about done, my husband told him it was my daughter's birthday and the sweet lady brought out a piece of cake with a candle in it and sang to her. That was a wonderful surprise! I'm not going to say it was gourmet food, but it was certainly above most local Chinese restaurants, and certainly on par with any buffet in the area. I like that there were many options including things for kids like cheese pizza and Mexican food for those that don't care for Chinese or Japanese food. Everything was very clean, the staff was very polite, and even the bathroom was tidy. We will certainly go back.

All the food I tried tasted good. The server who brings drinks and takes dirty plates was friendly and helpful. The woman at the front desk (you go to before you are seated) seemed reluctant to give the lunch price even though I was there 10 minutes before the change to dinner price. (I had called in advance to ask the time that the price changes.)

Came here a couple months back and the ribs had cockroaches. They still tried to charge people for the food

The customer service it's bad. The ice cream machine is not working.Their bathroom is not clean
