My initial experience was amazing I was immediately greeted and helped by a gentleman named Chris/ Christian P, he not only helped me find the shoes I was looking for but also gave input on what shoes to size up or down in which made the whole processes much faster for me. He held the shoes for me up in the counter while I continued to shop. Once I got in line I was immediately off put by the cashier( a young lady with a tattoo on her forearm) she did not greet me or call me up next she simply stared at me, she seemed very annoyed with the business of the store or as if she was not happy to be there or interested in helping the next customer. I informed her I had some shoes set up here for me, a pair of Nike air forces and Jordan's. ( my first time buying Jordan's(I was unaware of the name of the shoes and the size because I had to size up or down). After the confusion I asked to retry on the shoes to confirm before purchasing and she seemed annoyed and said "okay you will have to step aside to help out the next customer in line" and only handed over 1 of the shoes out of the 2 i was purchasing. I was very confused but proceeded to try the one pair of shoes on. Still unsure if the other pair were the ones he had set aside for me. Christian saw what was happening and quickly checked on me to see if everything worked out ok. After him reconfirming the shoes and shoe size. He then asked me if I wanted to pay cash or card and helped me purchased said shoes without having to reform a line. I felt more confident with my purchase after his help. I will be coming back in hopes to experience the same customer service Christian provided. Thanks footlocker

Update: It has been almost a month since Foot Locker "lost" my order. NOW...they have "lost" my refund check. The more you complain, the MORE they give you the runaround. The customer service representatives refuse to identify themselves and they refuse to file a complaint on your behalf. The customer service supervisor, Kat Bebeau, will not return phone calls OR emails. Shame on Foot Locker!!!

The people in this place have horrible customer service you say please and thank you and get no reply they have no manners. I feel bad because daniel was amazing, so nice and helped a lot. They could all learn a lot from him. I will not be back to this store.

Love this place!! Been coming here for years for my air Jordan's. This is the spot to get new release J's, they have a huge inventory of new release J's & I never get dissapointed!!! The manager always takes care of me & the staff is very polite, they also know their shit. Always a VIP treatment when ever I come here!! They have good inventory of shoes & they could order any shoes u want. Excellent place for "SNEAKERHEADS" like myself.

This Foot Locker has a pretty decent selection, I was able to find a nice pair of Nike shoes for my son for a reasonable price. The woman working the floor was very helpful, she came by and measured my son's foot and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Also, this location has a lot of good stuff on their clearance racks and tables, everything ranging from complete outfits to socks and shoes.

The service was beyond HORRIBLE in this store, so bad I went to the corporate website. Here is a little of what I wrote to them:I was in your Modesto Kids Footlocker store yesterday afternoon. I had what was probably, the WORST customer service known to man. After waiting for several minutes while the sales associates stood around avoiding customers, we finally managed to talk one into helping us. I asked a few questions about the fit of the shoes and if they run big/small. The sales associate was not helpful and huffed/sighed at every question. When I asked her to measure my daughter's foot she rolled her eyes and with attitude went to the ground. At that point I was livid and done with her attitude and lack of customer service. I told her to stop and forget it, she obviously was not into working that day. I mentioned that her attitude and rolling of eyes was unnecessary and impolite, she yelled back at me "I DO NOT HAVE AN ATTITUDE!" I said obviously you do, and the yelling is again, unnecessary. When I asked for a manager I was directed (with a limp arm thrown into the air) to another young woman, who couldn't have been more than 19 years old. She stood there wide eyed, saying "Uh-huh, uh-huh...", all while her employee was still in the background shouting about not having an attitude. I saw that conversation going nowhere, so I said to the manager "Your obviously not bothered by your horrible customer service and your incompetent employees, we're done here" and walked out.I will make sure I spread the word about this store, I belong to Yelp.com, if your not familiar with it you should be! I cannot believe that a large chain such as footlocker would hire these young and completely rude girls to be the face of their company. In the future I would HIGHLY recommend more efficient training for those in managerial positions. I firmly believe in customer service, when I get good service I always recommend the store to others. I will be making sure I let all of my friends/family know to steer clear of Foot Locker in Vintage Faire Mall.**This is just part of how bad the service was. I think my favorite part of all of this is when I called the girl out for rolling her eyes at me. Her response "MY EYE HURTED!!"....Ah America's youth, so educated, so polite and so unfortunately our future.

Husband and I went in to shop today and was helped by JT. We bought 2 pairs of shoes and his help from beginning to end was outstanding! Wish other stores had employees with his kind of customer service! Thanks JT!

Amazing customer service. Went in didn't know what I wanted but Sam was very friendly and helped. Actually made a conversation with me. tried on some shoes my original associate Sam was busy then Brenda asked me if I was doing okay and didn't mind grabbing me other shoes. Really appreciate the kindness and friendliness kids footlocker provided me. Definitely coming back just because of them.
