Food Fix

Thought it had to be good since it got co-signed by a food network host, unfortunately the food and service sucked. They gave us the worst burnt crappy corn dogs I've ever had. The breading was somehow burnt and not crispy at the same time, don't know how they managed that. I've genuinely had freezer corn dogs that tasted better. Any decent place would've offered to make new ones or had the sense to remake them automatically instead of bringing out burnt corn dogs to us for a "premium" price. The kicker was that the place was not even remotely busy, and in spite of that, it still took too long for our food to come out. Aside from me and my mother, there were maybe two other tables occupied and I can see why, my mom thought her food sucked as well and didn't finish most of it. I also got some bland mac and cheese that I did not finish. Workers were not very welcoming or friendly which is unusual for a local place. I hope we just ordered the wrong things and came on a bad day but it's not really worth the drive downtown or the price.

The root beer pulled pork sandwich with the slaw is the absolute best ever! Just an all over great place to eat.

This place was hopping on a Thursday at lunchtime. A sweet young lady took our order and we patiently waited for lunch. It was De-vine! On the expensive side, but so yummy! We'll be back!

Second time going to Food Fix to eat for lunch. The first time was busy and thought that the customer service was lacking due to having to request water and extra utensils. The water was luke warm. We brushed it off with them being busy. Today we went again and food was good. The place only had 3 other guests inside at the lunch hour. It was fairly slow. Once again customer service lacks. I have a hard time giving at tip at the beginning of a transaction but did so. The waiter took our order at the counter and later brought it out. There were no fountain drinks or refills. It was all canned drinks in a fridge for you to get yourself. No one checked to see if we needed anything. Most businesses offer water but no such thing here. Several times a waiter/waitress bussed tables nearby. No one check to see if we needed boxes as you could tell we had pushed our plates aside while we chatted. Other people sitting outside had to go in and get their own boxes to go. We followed as well. So now I know that this established only does the minimum to take our and deliver it, now I know not to give a tip and bring my own water. Most places have friendly staff that smile and make you feel comfortable but two differnt times I'm assuming Food Fix just train staff to do the bare minimum.

Everything here is delicious. It is always such a treat when we get to eat here! My favorite thing to get is the porkstrami sandwich on a pretzel bun with a side of Mac n cheese and a cookie. I usually end up having leftovers that reheat really well. It is a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for! SO GOOD!!!!

Omg what a great place! And the food!!!!5 different meals and 5 different delicious. Guy Fieri was sent to a winner. Root beer pulled pork was amazing fish tacos and Kobe burger all must have. Owner is great and to think it was a food truck beginning

Bad food and service. Don't waste your time coming here. Definitely not worth all the rave.

Food was greasy and inedible, fries were just grease filled potatoes, porkstrami was just a big fat grease ball.

Saw the review in Stanislaus magazine we decided to try it. Well after coming in looking around 3 employees talking one person at a table no one said hello or anything we sat there a while and left and had nice brunch at another place where they were busy but happy we were there.

Service sucked, forgot half our food, then brought out another sandwich with no fries. No vibes And trivia night sucked
