Ok, so it may be hard for this place to compete with pricing at the globo-corp outdoor stores (eg; Bass Pro). BUT, the prices if you pay attention, are actually quite competitive. So if I have to pay $1.13 more for a lure here, I'd prefer to do so. What you will get here? VERY knowledgeable service, from competent guys, a majority of whom all fish. Several of the guys here fish the same bodies of water I fish & they gave me some excellent tips. Selection is wide. Service is above the bar. For example; I purchased a spinning reel here. For injured at work, couldn't use it for almost 2yrs. Came here 2yrs later & asked them to help me figure out how to switch it from right hand to left handed reeling. NO PROBLEM. The fella right away said "I see what the issue was" and in less than 2min buddy had this reel set up. It was a user error issue & I overlooked one basic piece. Two years after a purchase & these guys are there to help me figure it out. We buy tackle here regularly & hope to see them remain open. We bypass bass pro most of the time to come here. lol. Great locally owned tackle shop.

We try and support local but this store is constantly out stock on everything that is popular in the area, even if we're there 1st thing in the morning after they stock. It is unfortunate that were going to have to take our business elsewhere due to this store inability to supply local fisherman what is needed. Will add that the staff here is always friendly and super helpful.

Forgot about this place but once you go through the doors, the excitement of going through each aisle to see what's new, comes rushing back.I love their selection of rods, salt/fresh, bass or bait, even combo rods and will go through each on by one. Then they have the whole back wall of worms, so many worms it's great. They have pretty decent things on sale too. Huge selection of reels. We fish delta and ocean and this place has everything. Don't hesitate to check this place out.

Went today to fix a problem with two of my Trout rods. The gentleman that helped me was awesome but beware of the Manager. There seems to be a problem when I show up with employees needing to take their lunch break all of a sudden right when I am trying to buy fishing gear. This has happened twice in the past and then today the Manager walked up right when I was trying to buy fishing gear again and said to the sales person helping me, "You need to leave now and take your break". Then they walk away and leave you standing there. I even had my girlfriend which was listening on the next isle so she could get a different view from a distance. A customer even commented that it was disrespectful and concerning since businesses rely on customers for their business. I will say this though be very careful with this lady that manages this store. I complained about her before and was told by the regional manager that she was wrong and could have handled the situation more professionally. I was also told it would not happen again. I believe there is a better way to handle this and that is walk up with another employee and relieve the person needing his break so the CUSTOMER isn't left hanging. She definitely needs training courses on how to manage her employees and deal with customers so they feel welcomed in the store. I am a disabled Vet and now feel I was targeted because of my disability. Disabilities come in many forms, seen and unseen and she definitely has caused unnecessary stress while shopping here with the multiple incidents with her making sure that when I come in she interrupts your conversations and does it multiple times and then fights with you in front of other customers when you complain. It makes you feel like your trash and your not important. I think Fisherman's Warehouse needs to address this issue and finally do something.. I spent quite a bit of money in this store and feel this manager greatly damages the image of Fisherman's Warehouse. This manager has had previous issues with customers and frankly needs to be fired and they put a manager that will make sure customers are treated properly and made to feel at home. Definitely will never come here again and will make sure all my fellow Vets that I fish with to also stay away.

The guy who was working the counter today was SUPER RUDE (12/8) Waited at the counter while he played with fishing poles...and then told us he was going to be awhile because he was still playing around. He really doesn't belong there. He also didn't have any knowledge on the vouchers for licenses. The main guy who runs their social media is really helpful and knowledgeable. Too bad that other idiot works there.

Walked in on a Sunday during business hours with reels and they immediately shot me down by saying they are not spooling line cuz they are short staffed, while 3 employees standing behind the counter doing absolutely nothing. I kindly asked the manager since they're not busy, if can one person can spool me up since my son and I came from so far, however the she got mouthy and argumentative- long time customer gone!

I've been going out of my way(I'm 2 minutes away from BassPro) to shop at Fisherman's Warehouse across town for the last eight years, during that time I've never asked to return something or having a defective product exchanged for a functioning one, until today. About a year ago I bought 4 crab pots with all the other stuff that goes with them, then the crab season got canceled so I stored it in the garage and never got to use them. Yesterday when I finally grabbed a couple of pots to assemble them I noticed that one of the harnesses was missing the clip spring. I went there and asked if I could exchange it for a good one.They wouldn't do it. They probably payed$5 for it and mark it up to $12.99.So, the kid working the register saved the company $5, and lost a long time customer. Fine business. I won't be shopping there anymore.
