Fisherman's Bend

If you like goats and dogs you will love this off-the-grid little place with the friendliest and most honest people you will find anywhere. It is like a place where time stands still. I settled in on a large grassy space under a huge tree and wished I could have spent a week there, just watching egrets on the Stanislaw River and loafing. Don't come here if you are expecting something fancy. It is quiet and the bathrooms and showers were very clean. One thing, though, you do need to be prepared for mosquitoes. I'm not taking any stars away for that because this is country and as one of the locals said "Of course there are mosquitoes, we are on the river!"

I would give the Employees ten stars But the place is an absolute dump ridiculously overpriced three nights no power or septic Over $100 absolutely ridiculous Definitely definitely find someplace else I would rather park on the side of the road next time

This is a rustic little RV campground. The San Joaquin River is nearby for fishing. The owners have only been here a year and are busy renovating and making it more palatable. There is a general store in the office, with picnic tables and full hookups (30/50 amp). Dogs are welcome.
