Faye Spanos Concert Hall

We were in for the University of the Pacific Choral Beauty in Winter concert. The two conductors brought the best out in these young people. From Handbells to Harp and all genres of winter music, they excelled. A little playful ensemble work thrown in made for a great evening in the timeless Faye Spanos concert hall. Timed just right at about 90 minutes, it was an evening well spent.

A lot of shows are put on by the school here, specifically the Conservatory. There's a huge variety of shows, frequently free ones, from jazz ensembles at the school to more recently a string of performances by Greg and Steve. It's a very old building with some questionable interior design choices, but it's still the heart of the school. Many members of the community come here every week for great music.
