Favalora Vineyards Winery

Went for a birthday party here. The area was nice the wine was good. The service was really good.

Recently had a day trip with several friends to Favalora vineyards. What a great experience, the owner was awesome and gave us a complete lowdown on how to make wine.There was a great selection and the wines were delicious. we will be returning soon!!

Outstanding award winning wines, Clean fun tasting room with music on Saturdays, the 2021 Barbara is one of the best wines I have tasted,The wine maker is always friendly and knowledgeable! This is the new Napa at a fraction of the price .........

The wine is fabulous and the owner Frank is extremely knowledgeable. This winery is a must.

The place may not be on a vineyard but the expertise and detail provided by the owner certainly transports you there! This was a wonderful experience. The time, and patience the owner took to discus and introduce his wines, journey, and process was truly inspiring! Def recommend!!

Great little spot and Frankie is great to talk to. Lots of passion for the craft and can't say he poured anything we didn't like and lots of stuff we loved. Shares a tasting pace with a woman named Rosie that also makes great wine. They do live music some nights which is usually pretty great. Have made this a regular spot for us!

My boyfriend and I came across this place while trying to go to Eight bridges brewery next door and thought we would check it out. In the little tasting room there are three stations of wineries, including Ehrenberg, Favalora, and Rosa Fierro. On Fridays there is a great deal where you get 3 tastings from each winery for $10! What a steal and you don't even have to leave the building. My favorite out of the three had to Favalora. I had a delicious Barbera de Sofia which I had never had before. The flavor was bold yet smooth and tasted different than anything I've really had before. I ended up taking one home. The Rosé was also delightful. Im not a huge fan of it, but I enjoyed that this one was dry subtle. In addition, Frank was a fabulous host. He was very entertaining and had great stories to tell us while we tasted. Overall, This place is a great place to try if you're in the area, and i'm surprised its not busier on a Friday night!

I travel to Italy every year to only taste wine, but Frankie Favalora is my favorite Italian winemaker. I tasted his barrel tasting futures of his Zinfandel and Barbera varietals this Spring and my mind was blown; I wanted to buy all his futures, but I settled for a case of each (I have sons who will need to get through college, lol.) These Varietals are so rich and well balanced. The Barbera is by far the best Barbera I have ever tasted. It is nothing like you would expect, so much more like a $150 bottle of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon than a dry Italian Barbera! The Zin is the best I have ever tasted. In a short period of less than a year, I feel like Frankie and his family are part of my extended family. They are great hosts and really take care of their members. The food trucks and bands they bring in are epic. I Googled Frankie and he is the most award winning Contra Costa County winemaker. He has won multiple gold and double gold medals for his wine. So, I just bought all of his years of Carignane, which won the most awards. I am here drinking his 2019 and again I continued to be amazed!!!

Such a fun place to go. The wine was delicious and worth the price. We will be back. Yum!!
