Steve & Lisa Fermi, our advisors, not only exceeded our expectations in planning prior to our holiday, they also greatly exceeded our needs during our month-long Italian adventure! They were professional and very responsive to our needs as we navigated through our trip. Each segment of our trip involved lodging, site seeing activities and transportation which was skillfully arranged and booked in advance. From our cultural and historical time spent in Florence, to time in our Tuscany villa, beautiful and relaxing cruise and romantic stay in Venice; truly an Experience of a Lifetime! Our tour/trip is winding down, we're now on our last day of Imperial tour with Oberammergau passion play. John did an excellent job in helping us make this trip happen. His patience is also impeccable, we have made so many changes on this trip and he has been patient with us. This company (Costsaver) is also well organized, no moment was wasted. Looking forward to our next travel.

This review is well overdue but I was having too much fun traveling with John's assistance to sit down and author this. I have used John now for three separate trips this year...Italy...Vancouver Island...and most recently Amsterdam. I cannot say enough good things about him...his promptness...receptiveness to change...and ability to make mods on the fly. I honestly wonder when the guy sleeps as he seemingly responds to emails around the clock!In the case of Italy...we had a tour of the coliseum cancel at the last second and John was able to scramble and find a tour guide for the lower floor which is very difficult. Moreover...the tour group he chose was able to get to the coliseum where other travelers were stranded with no tour guide due to the rail system closing that day.On my second booked trip to Vancouver Island John had an intimate knowledge of the hotel and its surroundings along with how much time to spend there. At the last minute we had to cancel and John did not miss a beat...handled all of our cancellations immediately.As for our most recent trip to Amsterdam...I had asked John about day trips to neighboring cities (Bruges). John took the time to buy and send me a DVD of the Bruges movie so I could decide if it was worthwhile. He booked us at a five star "Signature" hotel that...without a doubt...was the nicest and most quaint hotel I had ever stayed at.John also takes the time to get to know you...your family...and when you call him your conversations are not exclusive to the next trip. He genuinely cares about his customers and that is readily apparent.I started traveling with my wife in the late 70's...and used AAA during a long period due to proximity more than anything else. I moved to a travel agency in Danville which I used for several trips in Europe and China. I found John....and will never look back...I will ALWAYS book my trips with John from here on...as I said at the outset I cannot say enough good things about him!

There aren't enough stars to rate our experience with John. We gave John a range of dates and the countries we wanted to visit, and he created the most wonderful itinerary for us. He kept the cost of the flights, car service and hotel within reason without sacrificing comfort and location. All hotels were within walking distance to some of the major tourist attractions, yet secluded enough for peace and quiet, and to learn about how the locals live. On top of scheduling our trip, John provided us with informational fact sheets about each country we were visiting, and he checked in on us during our trip. If you are looking for the BEST travel agent, look no further! John will take good care of you and meet all your needs. He takes the stress out if panning your vacation. I have worked with John for many years, both personal and corporate. He has set up many trips for my wife and I, also multiple incentive trips for over one hundred people. From start to finish I can always count on John and Fairfield Travel. Many times John has "pulled the rabbit out of the hat" getting the impossible done. He works with many different agencies to find the perfect trip for you and found deals for us that were not published anywhere...

So this review is about one month over due. Earlier this year my wife and I decided we wanted to see Paris and London for our anniversary. We were referred to John at Fairfield travel and couldn't have been happier. John walked us through the best options based on what we wanted to see and experience. He booked us at boutique hotels in both Paris and London near the Metro lines and the major attractions. Our tour reservations were effortless, and literally we just relaxed as John thought of everything. There was a train strike during our visit and he made alternate reservations just so we wouldn't have to stress. His choice of the Capital Hotel was superb. The staff had a complementary fruit basket and champagne waiting when we arrived and made us feel like royalty. Can't wait for our next adventure to begin with Fairfield Travel!

My husband and I just returned from Italy and Greece on Monday and I am so impressed with John Parks at Fairfield Travel! We had a flawless vacation, fantastic hotels, airport transfers, absolutely perfect! With multiple flights and transfers, everything was flawless. We will definitely have John as our go-to person for any upcoming trips.

I would like to add an update! We went through John again to plan a vacation to the Caribbean in Oct. 2018. He suggested Sandals in the Bahamas! We went and it was amazing!! We didn't want to come home. Thanks again John for the wonderful recommendations. If you need help on where you should go.... John knows all the best places.

I only very recently started working with John and I wish I found him decades ago! I genuinely feel that he CARES about the success of my upcoming trip with my son, and I have appreciated so much that he gives me choices and respects my input. My other experiences with other agencies have been more along the lines of "Here is your itinerary -- have fun" and I was left feeling like "Wait, don't I get to pick?" John works with you like he is your friend sitting on the couch next to you and there is a dialogue about what will suit you best. On top of that, he has personal experiences and recommendations to share about where to stay and what to do. When I decided to get a new travel agent I actually tried calling Costco first (I mean why not, right?) but after waiting 10 minutes on hold I knew that would never work for me and my busy life. I am so glad I read the reviews about John and gave him a call -- what a prize to find someone who seems like they care even more about your great trip than you do! :) I can't wait to plan my 10-Year Anniversary trip next year using John as a guide.
