Fairfield Inn & Suites Stockton Lathrop

Enjoyed our stay here. Brand new hotel that's not far from the Great Wolf Lodge in Manteca, the sole Northern California location. Next to a Target and nearby retail and restaurants.Newly designed with nice shower. We also had a slightly upgraded room with a living area that had a sofa, second TV, some other furniture - felt relatively spacious and enjoyed the extra room.Stayed at the Fairfield and got a day pass for Great Wolf. Arrived at Great Wolf first thing in the morning (least crowded) and played there all day - worked pretty well.

A very new Fairfield Inn that just opened up within the last few months or so. I stayed here for a business trip in the area and really enjoyed my stay.I booked a king bedroom, the space was adequate since it was just me, but it should be enough space for a couple. There are drawers and a small closet to store clothes, and next to the closet is a hook to hang up any clothes or jackets on. Unfortunately there is no full length mirror nor safe in the room. The bathroom is very spacious and the shower is stocked with very nice smelling lavender toiletries.I got a room that was booked right in front of the gym and near the pool so it was very convienent. At first I was concerned about the noise and brought that up to the hotel staff as I was checking in, but he reassured me that it should be OK since I was staying during the week and not weekend. I didn't experience any loud noises during my stay, maybe just doors opening and closing but that was it. The AC/fan unit can be a bit noisy if you're sensitive to that but I didn't find it to be an issue.Breakfast consists of usual fare such as bagels, oatmeal, sausages, scrambled eggs, etc. There's a waffle maker too. Unfortunately coffee and tea isn't 24/7. The whirlpool hot tub was nice to dip my feet in after a long day of work but the temperature wasn't that warm. Also, when I went to use it, there weren't any towels available so I went and grabbed some from the gym.Parking is free and there were lots of spots. I was able to park behind my room. Staff is very friendly.

A great stay in another Fairfield Inn. The staff was excellent , friendly and still training new staff. The entry was nice, clean and inviting. The rooms felt new because it is a new hotel. I was upgraded to a King suite and it was excellent with two TVs and a couch that had never had been sat on. There is a nice gym with most of the equipment you need and an outside pool with spa and plenty of sitting area. Breakfast is included in your stay but I did not get to try. Parking is also included and is a big plus. I did a few problems but nothing too crazy. Had two tvs as I mentioned but not remotes (I did get remotes by asking). Asked for late check out and was not inputted resolved in the morning and no welcome gift for titanium even though coworker got one. A little inconsistent but they were in training. There is not much around here but there is Target near by if you need it and huge food truck location about a mile away.

It was exactly what we needed when our AC went out on a 110* day. Booked on Expedia and staff was amazing.

Great hotel for the area. It's a newer hotel and located more in the neighborhood vs. some of the other hotels. They have great customer service and have breakfast included. The rooms have a small fridge and microwave.

Negatives: Terrible water pressure. Imagine trying to wash off the soap film from your body with a one inch trickle of hard water. Finally gave up and ended up scrubbing it off with a dry towel. Emotionless, indifferent service that could easily be replaced by a robot. Positives: Attractive / new appearance. Breakfast offerings (premade sausage, egg, bacon optiions on bagels & english muffins).

Checked into room to find a blood like stain on my comforter. Out of curiosity I decided to look around the bed to see if this was a one-off. It was not. Found other blood like stains on the pillowcase, the top sheet, the towel in the bathroom, and on the wall in the bathroom. I could understand a single stain, but four seems like they may have a quality control issue with the housekeeping staff.

I checked in for a three night stay and was put in a ground floor room facing a busy highway outside. Walking into the room I could hear the traffic noise echoing through the closed windows. I immediately asked for another room on the opposite side of the hotel. Staff took care of me promptly and I was given another ground floor room. Next day I was informed there was no laundry service facilities working but the hotel staff could take care of me. (Thank God) I paid the ladies nicely for their service. The whole staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean. Not much around there for dining out but there is a Whole Foods Store, Target, and gas station.

A newer Marriott property, right off the I-5 Freeway! Plenty of places to shop & eat nearby. Very clean, aesthetically pleasing and they provide complimentary breakfast. Most importantly, the Marriott Representative, Collin greeted us as we walked in and was very professional. Thank you,Collin & MarriottPS. The water pressure could be a little stronger.

AC unit in the room was incredibly loud. The fan won't turn off from the wall digital programmer. In the middle of the night I googled and YouTube how to troubleshoot shut it off so I could get some sleep. At 4:45am I called the front desk to ask for help. I was told by the front desk person there's a California state law that requires it to constantly be set to on and this happen after covid19. The unit is incredibly loud. The water pressure is also very weak. Won't stay here ever again. Did not get any rest due to the loud cold AC.
