Elks Lodge No 1474

This place is amazing! Cindy and Lisa really helped pull off my moms memorial service. We were so happy with the way everything tuned out. Let's not forget the view of the water... love this place!

Pittsburg Elk's is near and dear to my heart because this is my hometown where I get to perform for members, and their guests whom I've known all my life. I get to entertain hear several times each year for special events!

Called and left 4 messages for the lady that does the events. I called to book the venue for my mother's repast after her funeral services. I'm still waiting to hear back and that was almost 2 weeks ago. Very shameful that no one returns your call.

Nice facility overlooking parts of the marina. Very quiet area and right next door to the PD training academy. Staff are very friendly even though I am a youngin and wasn't planning on having any parties at their lodge (wouldn't be such a bad place to have a party - 'cept the police guys are within ass kickin distance).

This review is based solely on the woman who is in charge of events. She is by far the rudest woman I have ever talked to. She never returned any of my phone calls and when I called her she said I'm busy call me back. And another time I called she said I don't usually answer the phone so call me back I'm doing banking stuff. Jeez. What a way to lose business. Why have an old rude woman on the front end of your business. My parents and my parents friends are elks and I know they all have heard the same thing about this woman. So thank you for being a UN pleasant woman. I went with the Walnut Creek lodge. The women there are sweet & pleasant. RETIRE ALREADY!

I had my wedding here on 9/18/2016. I went with this venue due to the price of it. It was fairly cheap ( from what I thought anyways) it was 250 to reserve the room and 10 days before your event you are supposed to meet up with the event coordinator( not a wedding coordinator to get confused) which I did and thought I had paid off everything when I went in. Two days before my wedding she calls me and tells me I still owe her 700$! Which I had a signed contract at that time. So I tell her I will see what I can do. And basically had to pay or my wedding wasn't happening. So she did work it out with me. I had to do my rehearsal 5 days before my wedding because they had other things going on for members. Then during my rehearsal I found out she would not help with people walking down the isle or anything. Luckily my officiant stepped up and helped us out so much!. The day of my wedding I came in and everything was set up nice and we just did our final touches. But once dinner was served this is my problem. She charged me 13.50$ per person for food the mecca only charges 9$ per food for the menu I got. And she charged me $200 for gratuity. All would have been fine if the line didn't take 45 minutes to clear out and the event center only had two people working the line for food. I had 80 people. And I saw her( event coordinator) giving out food to elks members who were not working. And she was doing half scoops of rice and beans to all my guests. The lady at the bar I forgot her name but she was amazing!!!! She is the one who stayed till we were gone. But I do not recommend this place for any events at all especially a wedding.

The staff here is amazing. Cindy is awesome and accommodate all my requests as best as she could, I would recommend anyone who is getting married to give this place a tour when deciding. I got married on July 31 2021 and all my needs were met by the staff. Thank you so much for helping my special day go as smooth as it did.

I'm not really sure how to rate this place. It is an absolutely wonderful location, plenty of room, the bartender was awesome! My son & husband put together the best surprise 50th birthday party ever. However the events leading up to and the day of are rather disappointing. My adult son inquired about renting the facility months prior and was told that it was for members only - then my husband stepped in and was able to rent it no problem. When he inquired about members only statement...it was denied. There was an unnecessary conversation regarding the previous nights event and their nationality. Why should the current party even hear that conversation - completely unprofessional!! We had a caterer and of course a decorating crew. The woman in charge was rude to the caterer apparently on several levels. How are you supposed to cater an event and not use water? That's a health violation. They complained that the water was being used too much! The contract stated the use of the stove/oven was additional which should have been included in the price but my caterer had to fork up the money before using the oven to keep the food warm. The sound system which they "didn't want people to touch" was awful. We couldn't use the flash drive so attempts were made to go old school and use cd's...the player and the speakers were terrible. Thankfully someone was able to work around the issue and we had a fantastic time despite the hiccups along the way. We will not be using Elks Lodge No 1474 again!!!!!!!
