The food was very good. Service was excellent. Not very busy on a Wednesday morning. We enjoyed watching the golfers on the course while we ate. Elkhorn GC has been there a long time and is very well maintained. We will be back soon.

Elkhorn Grill is a hidden gem. Beautiful setting with views of the golf course and outstanding food and service. The once a month first Friday Prime Rib is wonderful and as the chef says he only orders Prime Grade Beef.

The service is exceptional. We had a large party of about 10 people. They did great getting our food out & keeping refills coming. The Rookie, which I had was original & tasty. I would definitely come again!!

We love dining here at Elkhorn Grill. The daily breakfasts are tasty and portions are decent. The Thursday and Friday night dinners are superb! We love the nice ladies that work there, too!

The food is not that great. They have a waitress who is so rude that she actually cusses you out. She makes you feel bad if you ask for water. They will always have their regulars, the golfers, so they have no incentive to improve or make their staff be polite. If you don't care about service or great food this is the place for you.

A beautiful spot, enjoyed by my party of three, but painfully, albeit friendly service costs Elkhorn a Star. Really it should be 2.5, but being a glass half full guy I'll go 3. We enjoyed the gamut of dishes, Steak, Prime and the nicest Scallops I've had in a long time. Two gripes: Baked potato was subbed by garlic mashed and 45 minutes between salad/soup course and entree is inexcusable. We skipped a nice dessert menu as we didn't have another half hour to wait for that.

I have leaving a bad review butOk so i have been here twice. Both times were unimpressive with the food. We always ate in the bar area so maybe the actual dining room is better but i don't knowLong wait both time, one in our party had to send their food back and decided not to eat. 4 1/2 stars!The Grill redeemed itself tonight. Service was spot on.Tonight's Thursday night special was all-you-can-eat chicken fried steak dinner for $12. Dinner includes a small bowl of soup, bread and butter, made from scratch mashed potatoes, chicken fried steak and a vegetable medley.Everything was quite tasty. The soup was a bean, vegetable and noodle combination...thick and rich. Chicken fried steak was tender, topped with a brown country gravy. Homemade mashed potatoes were seasoned just right. The vegetable medley was al dente. Overall a delightful meal. Check out Elkhorn Grill for yourself some time.

NOTE: My baseline for 5 stars are French Landry, Gary Danko, Vik's Chaat, Per Se, Peter Lugar's, and Bern's Steakhouse.I went at 8pm(an hour before closing) on a Saturday night. Service and people were excellent.I had the deep fried shrimp which were actually prawns. Delish! I had the Prime Rib special. Disappointment. You can get a better deal at Black Bear Diner. I gave this place 3 stars for the service and people. Really not worth the drive to eat.
