Elk Horn Grill & Banquet

BRIDES BEWARE....... I am not one to complain.. But unfortunately turning to Yelp To vent seems to be my only Outlet....... I planned my wedding of over 200 people mostly by myself with some help from family and friends. Erica had me convinced that I was in Good hands with her and her staff and I trusted that they would deliver.... Although she has good intentions she failed over and over to deliver on my wedding day along with her staff, ... they are very unprofessional , Unorganized and blatantly lied about many things.... They are not holding themselves accountable for any of the misfortunes that went on that night and the moments that were lost due to their inconsistency and inability to deliver.... At ome of our meetings we sat down and Erica gave me a timeline in which things would take place the da/ night of our wedding, Thank goodness that we printed out this timeline for the people we thought Would need it to execute A relatively scheduled night.... Thank goodness we did that because if not it would have been a complete catastrophe.... We did have some form of organization through my family and friends None whatsoever from the venue and their staff.... In fact Erica turned around and altered the contract and change the timelines and made it appear as if there was never a set Schedule for certain things ..... Including the very important speeches/toast.... And The cutting of and serving cake to our guests.... These are just a couple of things where they fell short Not to mention it took them well over an hour to serve my guests dinner... It is obvious that that Erica is overworked as she will state that over and over again How many hours she puts in on any given day... I understand we are all human and we all fall short especially when our plates are overloaded, But when you start insulting my intelligence Because of your Human error. And could not seem to hold yourself accountable .... That's when principle comes in..... I think Erica either needs an assistant or a vacation...... . We paid way too much money for what we received... I would never recommend this place to anyone... They find an excuse for everything including our overcooked prime rib that my that most of our guest could not even eat..

I've been coming here now for almost a year. The food is great the portion size is large and I always bring home food. The staff is great, and the dinners here always fun. If you haven't been here recently you are missing out.

I have had the pleasure of working at the Elkhorn Banquet in Stockon with our Photo Booth by Mary Gillespie Photography on several occasions. They are a great venue with a great staff. Whenever we work there it is a flawless event.

Having my wedding at Elkhorn was the best decision I ever made. Erika was the most amazing, helpful, energetic, and easy to work with person I could have ever had the honor of working with. She took care of everything and gave me so much ease in the weeks approaching my wedding. I needed a lot of accommodations with my dinner proteins (halal food) and the kitchen was willing to get custom ingredients for me and that was the most special thing for me. The room divider also allowed for me to have a hybrid wedding where we were able to go from one large hall to two smaller halls mid-wedding reception. The team was willing to make my vision happen and did it amazingly and I cannot express my gratitude enough to them for that.10/10 recommend doing your events here so you can work with this amazing, accommodating, and helpful team!

Erica Vanderbeek, and the entire staff at Elkhorn Banquets & Golf Club are truly amazing people. They all went above and beyond to make sure that my special day what nothing less than perfect. We had speed bumps along the way, but Erica was so calm and professional about fixing any and all issues that it was like they never even existed. Cannot say enough about the staff. My daughter's wedding reception was there last night and the staff were all amazing. Everyone was kind, patient, helpful, on top of everything....... Just amazing job done by all. Thank you!

I had my wedding at elkhorn. Ceremony and Reception. and it was beautiful! The staff was professional and the food was so good! I had so many compliments about the food from my guest!

Had my daughters wedding and reception at Elk Horn it was the perfect place so pretty and the employees were so helpful and kind I would diffently recommend this place the food was excellent and I had so many compliments from guests that my daughters wedding was the best wedding they had went to great food great service

Went to elkhorn for Mother's Day brunch and first off would like to say the wait staff was awesome. Very friendly and accommodating. They way they handled payment was terrible...had to wait in line for the 12:30 seating and pay prior to being seated. Some people were still standing outside 30-40 minutes later. The food was decent except the eggs Benedict were cold and overcooked. Prime rib was very good. They ran out of the eggs Benedict and bacon as well as other things well before people were finished. Definitely need to plan better.
