Elk Grove Multi-Use Trail is 1.25 miles long and is actually within the Elk Grove Regional Park. It is made of decomposed granite and is maintained by the Cosumnes Community Service District. The trail itself travels around the outer perimeter of the park but occasionally wind its way through certain areas. What's so nice about this trail is that it is almost completely shaded by huge trees. It takes you along most of the major features of the park such as ( The dog park, the bike park, baseball diamonds, pond,) so there is never a dull moment. Most users walk, jog, or bike the trial. Plenty of parking throughout the park. Overall a well maintained family friendly trail ! The one star deduction was for certain areas of the trail being so wet and muddy.

All trails in Elk Grove are very interesting! If you get a chance go to the city's website and download the trails map for a look at all the trails. There's an effort to improve the trails system so try to give feedback to the city at their ask Elk Grove app.

I absolutely love this trail through the Elk Grove area. Fantastic and peaceful views. Sometimes we bike ride and other times we walk our dog, great either way.
