El Tarasco Taco Truck

I've always liked El Tarasco dating back to high school. Sadly, I'm not sure if I will be returning.I came here the night of December 27th. It was my first time in so long and about 30 minutes before closing. I asked for a carne asada burrito supreme and as priced on the truck, it costs $7.50. When I ordered it, the burrito seemed smaller than what it used to be when I attended high school. Next, when I started to eat the burrito, it didn't have sour cream nor cheese. It seemed like I was eating a big taco. So I paid $7.50, the burrito supreme price, and I didn't receive what I asked for. That was extremely disappointing. I was taken advantage of at this place. Therefore, it's difficult to say if I will come back.

This truck is GOAT. Burritos are always 2+ lbs (no joke) and hot and delicious. I usually only wait like 3 minutes and they provide good fixings, just say everything and let them (him) work their magic. Doing great work every time I've been there. Never dissatisfied. Only in my tummy that can't eat it all in one sitting.

2/18/22 - Highly upset!!! I ordered a steak & shrimp burrito. The cashier asked me if I want mild or spicy and I ordered spicy. When I got home I bit into my burrito, the tortilla was coming loose because it was old!!! The meat was fresh, but had too much fat so when you chew it sounded like potato chips!!! I ate half of it, the other half I threw out. I hope I don't get hungry later on or get heartburn from it being so dry. The cost was $11.00 and I think the last time it was $9.00. Everything is going up & up!!! I am starting to eat at home more & more. I am glad I know how to cook.

I said asada supreme burrito, I get no sour cream and cheese, why are you scamming my 1 dollar?!? :(

Omg! I just had the worst carnitas ever... chunks of white fat which was goowey... and the pork was dry and burnt, a significant amount of it was burnt and stuck together... Just terrible.. so disappointed as I've had success with carne Asada tacos from this truck.Never again!

Great food! But! Holy crap the younger Mexican lady with the big ass is a huge bitch!!! Been coming here for years and you think you'd get a smile after always being polite but unless your hardcore Mexican you just keep getting dirty looks and bad attitude. You attract more with sugar than shit....just sayinUpdate 09/05/19So now because of my review on this truck, how ever long ago now, I have now started receiving messages through Yelp that I need to watch myself and calling me names for leaving an honest review about a food truck in crap town Stockton. Just goes to show you what the people are like lol I'll be sure to post them on my IG and FACEBOOK

I usually come here because they have decent food and very close to home. Every now and then I'll get a lady that always seems like she hates working here and is always rude and always gets my order wrong. Today I went and the guy taking orders clearly knows spanish and has a thick accent. So I chose to speak Spanish to make his life easier but homeboy wants to show off his "English" in front of a Caucasian man whom was there before me. Anyways I then proceeded to talking English since he ignored my spanish order and continued "what do you want" I then told him my order 3 times since he was clearly having trouble understanding me. So if you're reading this you can shove those burritos up your a** I'll take my money elsewhere. And my I add when I first approached to order he was already rude in a bad mood.

Quiten a la morra que tiene de cajera con ese caracter hasta quita el hambre, le habria pededio unos tacos con salsa verde , me los dio con salsa roja y se los regrese , lo unico que hiso es poner salsa verde encemina de los mismos tacos que le habria regresado , if i could id give negavtive stars i would, customer service

They have by far the best burritos I've found in stockton. delicious and full of flavor! Also gotta say. The portion sizes are massive. I'm lucky if I finish a burrito in one sitting

So good. Dripping with flavor. Ordered 5 different tacos. Carnita took the win. Ask for extra napkins. Worth the stain on my pants.
