El Siete Mares Restaurant

I was in-between things and left very early to go to Stockton. I wanted to eat and most places were closed.I turned and saw this restaurant and because they had breakfast, I wanted to try it.The woman behind the counter was friendly and I took a seat at the counter and started to read the menu she handed me.Prices looked high but because the cinema is near and there are events in the area, I figured it wasn't as bad.I ordered the Chorizo and Eggs, and replied "corn tortillas" when asked.Cooking took awhile but the best stuff usually takes longer.It was worth the wait. I've never had chorizo but it was very tasty, with or without the sauce.Tortillas were cooked nicely, and the orange juice was okay.At $17.38, it still feels a little expensive but not too bad.BTW, if you wonder where Moo Moo Burger Barn is, it's been replaced with good Mexican food.

Very rarely have I ever given a place 0 stars, but damn, I couldn't force myself to finish what I ordered. Service and ambiance was fine, but I was here for the food and it failed. Coctel and vuelve a la vida was a fail! The tacos were good. Sadly, this is a restaurant that's dedicated to seafood and they couldn't even get the Coctel right. Leaving here unsatisfied.

We decided to give them a try since they just opened that location downtown... Terrible! The carne asada was more like boiled pork of some kind and the fried items tasted fishy.

The place is located right down town. Parking is great but there's something usually around the corner. They have small outdoor seating area. We sat inside, we all had tacos... chicken and asada and they were delicious the meat was well seasoned. I also had a wet burrito and it was DELICIOUS! The green sauce is thicker than I'm used to but it faced in my mouth. Is only recommend they change the tortilla chips (too thick- not fresh) but they are still Oakley with the salsa they serve

Came here on a busy Friday night. Service was....a little less than ok BUT there was one waitress/cashier/hostess (she was doing it all) & two people cooking. We sat ourselves. Took 10 minutes to get our drinks. Chips & salsa appetizer were ok. Waited 30 minutes (no exaggeration) to get our food (they were busy & obviously short staffed so I do not fault them for this but obviously annoyed). I'm not sure if they just recently bought the place but outside, painted on the windows says "Salads, Burgers, Fries, Sandwiches" & this place has none of that so I was a little confused (because I really wanted a burger which is why we went in). So we finally get our food.I ordered a shrimp taco for $3. It's just onions & cilantro, oh & salsa on the side. That's it. & not even whole shrimp. It's chopped up pieces. Very disappointing. My boyfriend got their Supreme burrito- Asada. Meat was delicious but for a "Supreme" burrito, it was only rice, beans & onions & cilantro. Kinda basic to me. I ordered a side of rice & beans. Basic but very good. Shrimp taco - Supreme burrito- Rice & beans - When we were leaving, we discovered the Supreme was supposed to come with sour cream & other stuff. Also, the water is $1, not complimentary.The main person waitress/hostess was VERY kind & we would come back but only if we were really hungry & no other options.No pics because we ate our food so fast.

Crab crab crab. Im not sure if my taste buds are of beat, so please by all means correct me if im wrong....In my opinion this hole in the wall has one of best tasting crab dishes i've had period. It set my personal bar for comparing other crab places. The ocean is 80 miles away and yet the flavor is better than most if not all the Frisco joints I've been. Make sure its dungeness or stone crab, before you order, the snow crab doesn't cut it for me. Once again its my opinion..

My in-laws have been telling us about this restaurant, they've really enjoyed the breakfast. We went, late morning on a Sunday, and we're seated immediately. Our waiter was very nice and friendly, and the food was served within 10 minutes of ordering. I tried the All-American breakfast, my family had the pancake combo, French toast combo and a waffle combo. I loved everything about the all American, hash browns were crispy but still had a nice soft middle, my over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. The French toast was absolutely delicious, I ate a piece with no syrup, that's the ultimate test of a good French toast to me, and enjoyed it immensely as is. I didn't try the waffle or pancakes but was told both were really good as well I'm just sorry I didn't think to take a picture. Highly recommend for a great breakfast

The food and customer service is terrible. Ordered a enchilada plate with green sauce and asked for Monterey Jack cheese and once I received my ordered it was Parmesan cheese. Then chicken was still frozen. Took one bite and said I didn't want it. She still tried to charge me for something I took one bite of. Definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

This food is extremely nasty me and my friend went inside to eat shrimp and tacos and the tacos tasted like dirt it was so bad and the shrimp tasted very old and rotten. I would recommend this place to NO ONE this food is so bad.

Great food, service and ambiance. This restaurant is new in the downtown area but has been around for a while. They recently relocated.The food is fresh and made to order as well as the hand made tortillas. If you're looking for authentic mariscos and authentic Mexican food, look no further.
