El Rosal Mexican Restaurant

We enjoy this restaurant. Their food is good, service is friendly and they are attentive to our needs. We try to go there at least a 3-4 times per month.

Service was sad at first, very busy, we should have ate at the bar( maybe 6 seats). Could tell there was a new girl working, she was wandering around looking lost, not cleaning tables, wasting time, not moving with a purpose. The one other waitress finally came over and took our order, we had ordered beers with lost waitress but 20 mins later nothing, she never came back to our table. The other waitress was nice and funny and she was on point except for the limes I asked for for my beer, beers were cold and refreshing. Chips good, salsa tasted canned watery with fresh green onions and bits of cilantro thrown in, it was meh but edible. Food was not good. Tasted burnt and not flavorful. Unfortunately will not be back.

I absolutely loved the mole enchilada dish very authentic. Good service. Excellent food and drinks consistently!

This restaurant was right across the street from the best western. It was conveniently located. The food was amazingly delicious. Their chips and salsa are complimentary and ask for the green sauce because it's delicious not spicy at all. I had the carne asada and ranchera style shrimp with a side of rice and beans the beans and rice were delicious as well. Total spent was around 20ish bucks. They have a bar with cocktails and beers. They have an electronic menu, they will give you a QR code. The bartenders was very attentive and so was the waitress. We were there during the week so it wasn't busy. Parking lot is big so no issues with that. They do have tv's in case you want to catch a game.

It seems to me reading the poor reviews that the vast majority were left 1+ years ago. Those ratings certainly do not describe our recent experience, and to get it right out in front we WILL stop here again next time we're passing through town! In fact we found El Rosal given a next door business was closed; lucky us! The business is clean, open, bright and 'happy'. Service was excellent t and the server couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. There were two of us so we ordered the "SPECIAL COMBINATION" including a beef, taco, chile relleno, cheese enchilada and bean tostada with rice, beans with red sauce, all for $19.99. There was so much food it's served on two plates making it perfect to share. Not bad to feed two us of with exceptionally delicious food! Everything was excellent including the chips (I couldn't stop eating them). Everything is made in house and was excellent. I could eat a bowl of the ranchero sauce on the chile relleno as a bowl of soup it was so good! I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know going up and down I-5 and passing through Patterson, California! It's a winner with repeat business in my book!I'm sorry didn't take any pics. My resolution for next year is to not be so hungry I can take a few pics before digging in!

Driving through and didn't want to eat at any of the fast food options at this exit. We found this place and the food was delicious! Authentic Mexican food!

Everything was as expected for an el rosal, delicious food and great service. Staff was very attentive. From what I can see the restaurant was very clean and the environment was as comfortable. Will def be back :). (In my opinion the food was 10x better than javis)

Love this place! The food is so yummy! Service is friendly and great! I highly recommend this place! The green sauce is to die for!

Staying overnight in Patterson, and this was the third place I called to order food from so first star comes just from being open and picking up the phone I ordered the Burrito Supreme with beef and 1/2 red, 1/2 green sauce with a side of guacamole. The total was under $14, which I feel like is very reasonably priced. The burrito was ready in less than 15 mins, and it came with crispy chips and salsa in the bag. (Woohoo!) The salsa is absolutely delicious, I wish I had 5 more containers of it. The burrito was HUGE and came with a generous dollop of sour cream.I feel like the burrito was slightly dry on the inside and I wish it had less rice and more beans, and the beef was just not quite as tender or seasoned as I wish it was, otherwise this entire experience would have been 5 stars. I'll be back if I'm in Patterson again!
