El Rico Sazon de Betty

This is a great little food truck right off the main road through Lockeford. It was a hot day and we were drawn in my the large tarp they set up over the exterior of the truck to provide lots of shade for their customers. There is plenty of parking and the truck is well labeled with all of the many dishes they offer, including photos. They have a table as well as a few barstools to provide some seating. We tried some of their tacos and they were very good. The pork was a bit oily and spicy but everything else we tried was savory and delicious. I love that the chef looks exactly like her little avatar on the truck and we will be back soon to try some of their other options.

There are three taco trucks in Lockeford and this one is the best. I used the other one down the street for over a year and they don't serve cabeza which is my favorite meat so I switched when Betty's showed up. Betty and her husband make amazing food. It's is not the cheapest but it is some of the best. I would bet I've eaten off 30+ taco trucks in the valley over the years and this one is my favorite. They recently upgraded their truck to a trailer which is super nice with more capabilities. Their parking space has plenty of room for customers and right off hwy 88 in downtown Lockeford. To feed the whole family it's usually around $50 and we order from them about once a week. Everything from pastor taco supremes, lengua and cabeza quesabrirrias, chicken tacos and flautas, hamburgers and fries, breakfast burritos and my go to... cabeza chimichanga with a cabeza quesadilla. I really enjoy their food and the ability to text them ahead of time so I don't have to wait for the food. They are super friendly and I really enjoy chatting with them.

We always look forward to stopping here on the way home from Kirkwood. The quesabirria tacos are the best I've had - anywhere, ever. The service is good and they have bar stools and a picnic table where you can eat.

Friendly, great food, wide variety of drinks which was nice, their horchata is really good. They have tables that are covered set out for you to eat there.

We stoped at this truck on our way home from Comanche . My husband had the pastor tacos, as well as the Birria tacos. I had taquitos and pupusas. my daughter had the steak tacos. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back when we are in town.
