El Rancho Supermarket

I come here for my meat. It's the closest to what I used to pick up in the bay. The cuts are however a bit thicker than normal. The price is 9.99 lb fresh or marinated which is a great price compared to 15.99 lb.

The meat department (carniceria) is good, they have good prices. But they need to fire the baker who makes the Mexican bread. It is terrible, no flavor, most times cold and hard. They ought to pay the customer to take the bread. It is terrible. I've never had the 'piggie' bread taste so awful. I may try the deli son and will offer my grade. But one negative, there is no aroma of food. That's what's missing. Don't really know if I should try it.

This is the most horrible place I've been! If you're needing to cash your check don't even bother considering "El Rancho SuperMarket" As a go to let alone OPTION! They have Horrible Customer Service for starters they give misleading information to customers they waste customers time they LIE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS AS WELL! I went two days in a row here to cash my check 1st time I called they said check cashing don't close till 9pm I called at 7:50pm then again at 8:15pm to double check and was told 9pm once again I also explained what type of check I had and they said yes we cash! So I showed up 8:23pm the cashier called the individual who dose the cashing of checks. He shows up takes the check go somewhere comes back and say oh its too late I'm like bro no its not it's only 8:26pm they said 9pm I called twice he was trying to make me out of a liar so I showed him my call log then he goes some we again then come back like can u please come tomorrow the manager said tomorrow for sure I'm like why when I was told to come today then say oh we can't verify it to late! I'm like bro u guys close check cashing at 9pm so how is it too late?! (Mind u tomorrow is Christmas and today is Christmas Eve so he lying!) This is extremely weird but ok I'll come tomorrow and I said for sure bro? He said yes! So I showed up today and guess what soon as the guy seen me from last night he ran off so this other guy comes get the iPad then get his phone snap pictures of my check front and back and sent them to some guy I'm like wtf why are u sending my check to someone he said the bank lol so "The Bank" calls him and their talking back n forth mind u this isn't the bank it's someone else who works at the store he check the cash register for money then I hear him say to them I was black then all of a sudden he's like oh we can't cash it sorry I'm like what? Why? Oh it's way too much sorry! I'm like wow why tell me to come today and u guys were going to cash it for sure?! Why did u take pictures of my check and send it to your friend ? Why all of a sudden after u told them I'm black u can't cash it? Oh we can't Verify the check! Oh so why are u guys open then? Why did u guys cash the other persons check? Yours have to deposit I'm like bro all check have to be deposited all checks have to be verified so enough of the LIES!! I heard him say I'm black and now u can't cash it!!All Dark skin Humans stay away from "El Rancho SuperMarket" they won't cash your check pretty sure they'll decline your card payment as well because your black and they need to verify you ain't doing FRAUD once again because your black!

I've stopped here a couple of times since it's close to Dollar General. Prices are generally reasonable.The store has a variety of Mexican, Middle-Eastern, and Indian foods.They have the usual Mexican snacks and even have date-filled cookies/biscuits. The refrigerators have a good variety of convenience items and cooking ingredients.The meat department looked good.Everyone working there has been friendly.

The prices used to be great, now I see most things are just like other stores price, the place got everything, employees are nice, sometimes employees are not in a good mood most of the time they are fine. I go there spend $160.00 dollars in a few things my wife told me food for less is cheaper, I don't really know, they sale tacos very good the lady cooks are super nice, thank you.

I decided to stop by Manteca Foods and I was very impressed by the stores cleanliness, friendly environment, fresh produce, and the great prices that they offer. I will definitely make this my go to shopping location in Manteca! They also have an ATM machine so I can stock up for my cash needs for the week.Go and check them out.Tip to Management: Keep up the great work!

I really like this grocery store I been shopping here for all my produce and little stuff it's cheap and good quality. Supposed to be having Carniceria soon so looking forward to it and I'll up my stars! Super potential

Beware!!! I just tried to buy few flautas that are 4.99 according to the menu on the screens. They wanted to charge 6.99 ( maybe 5.99) but pretty sure it was 6.99. Nowhere in the taqueria did it have this new price. When I mentioned it, they said none of the prices in the screens are active. Nowhere was there a sign that said ignore the prices on the screen nor was there a new set of prices anywhere. It's not much but it's their business practice that bothers me.
