This place packs their breakfast burritos!! Protein packed breakfast is hard to come by these days. Even sit down sit down restaurants only give you at most 2 eggs and everything else is just carbs. I don't know how many eggs El Rancheros uses but I got their huge ham, egg, and cheese burrito and that's all it is. No filler with other carbs. Just packed with protein for under $15 WITH a drink. Thank you El Rancheros!

The rice was hard in my carne asada burrito. The chips were stale like they've been sitting out for 3 days. Gave this spot a 2nd try the first time my food was cold and food tasted like it's been sitting ..

A little confused at the counter and they don't offer free water. The shrimp taco was good, but had too much sauce. The fish taco was a bit overly deep fried, but tasty.

Service was good, friendly and helpful. Ordered a super burrito, I've had better tortillas from the grocery store, carne asada was dry and flavorless. Barely had rice mostly beans and meat. Cheese was shredded and cold, not nearly melted at all. Chips and salsa are self service have to bag your own chips and everyone uses same tongs that are in chip container. Soda machine was messed up regardless of what you chose the machine was spraying soda and carbonated water everywhere except in the cup. Expected way more from a newly opened restaurant. Second time here unfortunately won't be coming back.

This is a rating based on the food taste - not overall experience. If you imagine fast food Mexican, it tastes exactly like it. It's not amazing, but it's not bad either. The portions are huge though! We got kids burritos and quesadillas, we got asada fries and we got a super burrito. Salsa wasn't my favorite, definitely on the spicy side, just not a great taste to me.We were in and out in the drive through and the workers were friendly.

As a lover of Mexican cuisine, I was excited to try the first 24-hour Mexican drive-through restaurant in the Riverbank area. Offering a variety of options, it seemed like a promising addition to the local food scene.**Dishes Tried:**1. **Flautas (Rolled Crispy Tacos):** The flautas were a standout. Despite taking them home, they remained crispy and were topped with sour cream, cheese, and guacamole. The guacamole was spot on, adding a delightful freshness to each bite.2. **Carne Asada Burrito:** This burrito was packed with meat, rice, beans, cilantro, onion, and salsa. It was delicious overall, though they forgot to add the sour cream I requested. A minor oversight, especially given how busy they were. I would prefer whole beans over refried beans and felt the burrito needed a bit more salsa, but the extra salsa I had at home did the trick.3. **Quesabirrias:** The quesabirrias were another highlight. Generously filled with flavorful meat, they came with a consomé that, while a bit salty on its own, perfectly complemented the quesabirrias when used as a dip. It's evident they make the consomé from scratch with the right spices for birria/barbacoa.**Salsas:** The green tomatillo salsa was excellent, while the red salsa, though slightly watery, had a good flavor overall. The quality of the salsas is crucial as it elevates the dishes, and they mostly delivered on this front.**Service:** The service was friendly, and even though it's a drive-through, it's not fast food; it's a taqueria. They take a bit longer to prepare the orders, which is understandable given the quality of the food. **Cost:** The total came to about $45 for 3 flautas with guacamole, cheese, and sour cream, 1 asada burrito, and 4 quesabirrias. Considering the quality and quantity of the food, I found the pricing to be fair.**Overall Experience:** This taqueria with a drive-through is a fantastic concept. The minor hiccup with the sour cream didn't detract from the overall positive experience. I appreciate the effort they put into making authentic and delicious Mexican food, and I'll definitely be back!**Rating:** (4/5)

The super burrito is HUGE!! It was loaded with carnitas and the meat was seasoned really good. The breakfast burrito was ok..kind of bland. I also got a carne asada quesadilla and even that was loaded with meat. Customer service was really good, I went inside and it was nice and clean and staff was super nice. I love the salsa bar and the self serve chips.

I did not dine in. I just went through the drive thru, so I cannot comment on the ambience or cleanliness of the restaurant. The food was a bit below average for Mexican food. The salsas were extra watery and one of the caps came off in the to-go bag and made such a mess! Not a fan of Mexican rice with chunks of carrots and jalapeños - no kid is going to be interested in eating that. The chicken had pretty good flavor, but again it was also kinda watered down and made my food a bit soggy by the time I got home to eat it. For the price, I don't think it's worth it, but since this is 24 hours... I could justify it if it was the only thing open after a night at the bar. The lady at the drive thru was a bit inpatient while I was looking over the menu in the drive thru, but ended up being very friendly when exchanging payment/food.

This place was horrible. I asked for a burrito with sour cream no cheese and they gave me a burrito with cheese and no sour cream. The service was slow and terrible. Over all I give this place a one star.
