I drove a pretty solid distance to try the highly regarded house made chalupas, and it was very worth the visit. The atmosphere was very casual. I was glad to have brought my own reusable water bottle with me. The horchata was delicious. I look forward to coming back someday, and suggest you stop the next time you're passing through STK

The food is good but short me a breast and a wing even after making me pay extra for it. After calling they just say they can't do nothing about it. First and last time I buy here.La comida está buena, pero me faltaron una pechuga y un ala, incluso después de haberme cobrado extra por ello. Al llamar, simplemente dicen que no pueden hacer nada al respecto. Primera y ultima vez que compra aqui.

Good little spot on Crows Landing.3 chicken tacos with onions and cilantro on the side. Served with tomatillo sauce, line and radish.Grilled tortillas filled with drilled chicken! The chicken is cooked outside on the outdoor wood fired grills, very tasty!I added in the Diablo Sauce on the side as they had a whole menu section dedicated to this sauce. It had some kick, but very tasty! Highly recommend. I will be going back.#spicemeister approved!

Favorite restaurant to eat at in Modesto. My daughter loves the quail with Diablo sauce since she was 4 years old she's 7 now. Ice cold beer and drinks

Only giving 3 stars because the chicken was dry but the flavor was good. I would love for them to make the chicken more moist.

They told me 2 hours I order at 12 and got there at 2:20, when i had gotten there they told me it was still not done and I had to wait another 20 minutes why tell me 2 when it's really gonna be 3 hours!!! Food was good though i guess.

Placed an order over the phone, poor customer service! The chicken in the chalupas was very hard and dry.

I love the food it is excellent, however 3 times on whole chicken order 1 leg is always missing. After 10 months from last incident, I started to order just legs and thigh's & I opened the box checked & when I saw the breast and let someone know she got upset & said it is part of the thigh. Since I had paid I just left. Today, a year later, asked for 2 orders for just thigh's and legs and paid more for a whole chicken price. I received 2 whole chicken that was very dry, at a much higher price. Service is horrible. If you order whole chicken count to see if the thighs and legs are there. If they have lots of people they will shorten your order. If you order legs and thighs open your order to see if that is what you are receiving. I am so disappointed, the restaurant could be more.

Really stupid good, unassuming roadside chicken, rice, beans, and tortillas. Easy to pass by on the road, if you have not been here, you need to try it. As close to Mexico as you can get
