El Pescadero Park

Finally a park that's close by the house and big enough for all dogs ... and traing space ... ‍

We finally felt comfortable enough to take our puppy to our local dog park. Since I've heard two sides good and bad about this specific park I was a little nervous. Well, we had a really good experience. Our pup who is just 4 months old really enjoyed himself and I found the park to be very clean. There ar homeless surrounding the perimeter but they don't bother you. I liked how there was extra poop bags in case you forgot them or ran out. There is a water spout for the pups if they get thirsty. If you have a little one there is a smaller section for smaller dogs I believe 35 lbs or less. I do have one complaint and it's not the park but a specific dog owner. If your dog's goes #2 the right thing you should do is pick it up right? Well, this lady's dog takes a giant #2 while watching it and turns a blind eye. She left it for either us dog parents or another dog to step in. I was very disappointed. So, make sure when walking around you are aware that there may be poop on the grass due to irresponsible dog owners.

Just went again and it is completely run down, puncture vines and poop all over. It's nasty and we definitely won't be back. Huge Homeless encampment directly behind the park.

This is the one and ONLY dog park in Tracy! With so many people (100,000) and dogs, I can't wait until the new dog park opens on the south side of Tracy. I hear it's about a year out. This dog park is pretty good. It has a small side and a large side. The large side is definitely the popular side and there is a lot of rough housing so beware! My French Bulldog is still a puppy at 10 months so I only take him on the small side. It's pretty spacious and there are trees and a bench. I wish there was more seating. The water fountains are not automatic so you have to hold the button continuously or the water drains. There are poop bags and a nice receptacle. There is no public restroom. My dog Cooper loves to play with the other dogs:)

Absolutely horrendous! This was my childhood park and as soon as me and my friends go after years we start to get harassed by the homeless that live there! I've seen so many trash, cigarettes, and used needles everywhere! We were just trying to skate but we turned back home and are now planning to never return.

The skate park is really great, if you want to smoke or drink or meet the police.It's not that it's bad for skating, but there isn't as much of that kind of activity. Most everyone complained and sat. That was an improvement over my first two visits over one year ago.I stayed quite a while on Sunday and the police threatened to arrest me and someone else for being there after dark. It is a misdemeanor. I thought that i was in Dublin from the attitude of the police. Something tells me that they were bored.

First time coming in w/ my 5 month old puppy. At first was very scared, but once we came in all the dogs wanted to play and have a great time. In love w/ the space and equipments that are there.

It's nice to have an inclosed park that we can bring our dogs too ! We go often. The only complaints I really have about it is that I wish they kept up with maintenance in the park though... Alot of random mud puddles are around especially in this one spot.. it is constantly muddy and alot of the dogs just love to drop themselves right into it ( including my bull dog) .Also I think the dog park could use a few more benches and maybe another water fountain on the other side of the park .. I think that would be awesome because it kind of sucks sitting on the bench on the far end ( if thats all thats avalible) and have to walk all the way back to the entrance every time your doggy needs a drink .. I mean it is a pretty big place.I also think a wooden bulletin for the 'lost dog' pictures and signs .. Might be nice for the people who go to be able to put up their dog related business cards too! Just an idea on improving the park a bit because unfortunately I think after they built it they forgot about it.... I just think the park and rec people need to pay a little more attention to the park . But I do love to go and let my dogs play with all the other dogs .. It's cool to meet all the owners too I mean most of us that go at least all have that one common interest.... WE ALL LOVE OUR DOGGIES! :)

I've been searching for a quality dog park for my old man of a beagle mix and have traveled quiet a distance to try a few out. To my surprise I found one close to where I live and even more, it was far bigger than the ones I've been to. This place is huge and well kept. The dog owners take good care of their animals, aka pick up their poop asap. There are sometimes a few stray poops in the back but I assume that it is because the owner didn't notice. There are quiet a few dogs of every shape and size. It is busy even on weekdays and you get a range of personalities: from the loud, rambunctious to the old mellow dogs (like my dog). Like every dog park, there can be a few problems with very rowdy dogs and aggressive dogs but for the most part everyone seems to get along with one another.There is ample amount of parking right next to the park and attached to the dog park is a normal park and skate park. A little of everything for everyone. Dog poop bags are provided and there is a relatively clean dog fountain for your pups to get a sip of water.I take my boy a few times a week depending on whether or not he wants to go. He's a bit older so he's not really into playing with the other dogs, but boy does he like sniffing butts!

Love this park! It can get kind of crowded in the mornings on the bigger dog area due to regulars meeting up. The smaller dog area isn't packed in the mornings. I'd just keep a close eye on your littler dogs because I felt like some of the bigger dogs were going to hop the gate to play with my little ones, which isn't a problem with me but if you're afraid of bigger dogs, just something to thin
