A combination of things are the reason I gave this business the low rating. The quality and taste of their Quesadilla Birrias are not consistent. Two of the Birrias tasted like the meat was burnt along with the included simmered onions. Lastly upon paying by credit card I was going to leave a cash tip when o noticed the cashier had added his own tip amount to my credit card receipt. They have the "square type" credit card machine which gives the customer options as to how much tip they want t to leave. When the cashier turned the square type machine over (it flips) his fingers got a little sticky with my money. I mean TAKE OUT? Tip is really not necessary. Fast food restaurants with take out don't solicit any tips. I guess he felt bagging my order was to be tipped. Buyers beware!Check your receipt carefully for fraudulently added tips. BTW after discovering this I didn't leave a cash tip as I had intended.

The sauces here are fire! So flavorful and the fact that the food is halal is such a bonus! Quality meat that is fresh.

I enjoyed eating here. I had the steak street tacos, the fried fish street tacos and the nacho fries. The portions were huge. The only thing I didn't like was that there were barely any nacho cheese on the fries, it was more of a drizzle, it felt like they skimped out on it. You can see in the video that it looked kind of bare. I had to buy more nacho cheese for $2.80 for a cup of cheese. That kinda sucked. The staff were friendly. And the store was clean. I do recommend giving it a try.

El Jefe is not the same as it was before, I am thinking due to the cook. Food was just soggy and sloppy.

Nice quality, could use more napkins, but worth revisiting. Great enchiladas and birria tacos.

We ordered shrimp tacos, Birrea and cheese quesadilla. Every thing was fresh and delicious. We loved it and will definitely come back.

Drove by this place a few times now, wanted to stop by didn't get the chance and today was the day! Was out in Tracy running an errand and we came stopped in to give this place a try. Walked in and the establishment was empty with a clean seating area with music playing. Order our food and it came out really quick. We decided to get the street tacos and I got mine with the spicy orange sauce. Food was great and I would come back here again and try something else one the menu. Update: after our lunch we went back and ordered a burrito for our son and the order was forgot about and had to wait another 30 minutes. After my wife asked about it is when they recognized what they did and they still bit us on the back burner. Finally I got up and asked and they had it by the register the whole time.

Not the same as it was before. Don't know if there was a change in management or cooks but the quality of food has decreased significantly. Used to be a fan of their birria tacos but this is what I got. The consome was literally empty and there was barely and if any cheese in the tacos. Meat was super dry. No onions or cilantro.

I came in on New Year's day on my way home back to the Bay Area and ordered 4 tacos and 1 super burrito. Service was the slowest that I've ever experienced. My husband was inside for over 50 minutes while I waited in the car with my infant child, thinking it was going to be a quick in and out. They were so understaffed and the food honestly was mediocre. Our meat was very oily and didn't come with much toppings. While standing over 50 minutes to get the food I would say the ambiance was decent. Totally Disappointed for spending $40+ and waiting almost an hour for a order to go. Never again
