El Grullense Taco Truck

A Mexican food staple in Northern California. I grew up eating from this place in the bay at the original spots on the peninsula.

The red and green salsas are the money-makers here. They make the food delicious and standout over other tacos trucks. Without salsa, you taste the bland meat. Over the years, they have become so stingy with the salsa. Even if you order $100 worth of food, they will only give you 2-3 tiny containers of salsa with your order and they charge $0.25 cents per container after that. You would think the salsa is docked from the employees pay because that's how bad they give you pushback even when you tell them you are willing to pay for the salsa. The tacos and burritos are stuffed well with meat and condiments. The rice is always hard. If you order a meat only burrito, I suggest you add extra meat, otherwise your burrito will be super skimpy.

My boyfriend was halfway thru his burrito when he found hair in it2 stars cause it's a pretty tasty burrito (though a bit dry today). Otherwise we'd give this place a 0. Disappointed because we come here often for the convenience, but this just grossed us out.

Wish I could give negative stars! This truck is trash! Flat, skimpy, dry, pathetic burritos!! Just go to another truck don't even waste your time or money!!

First time at this location. The building style grabbed my attention. Pretty neat! Overall the food was tasty, flavorful and delicious. Customer service was good and not to bad of a wait. The larger horchata was delicious! They don't have fountain drinks, so we got two bottles of Coke. Asada torta was cooked right and was tasty. Tacos were delicious, the meats were on point, and it was very fulfilling. The burritos were made well and were appetizing all the way. The red salsa was def spicy (MOUTH WATERING) & so was the mild salsa. They provided plenty of rábanos and lemon. For our first time it was worth our money. Yummy lunch.

I got a super burrito of asada, the meat was good, but no cheese and the sour cream was barely there. Alooooot of rice and the rice had no flavor, neither did the beans. Like bland bland. and I've had this place before, not sure what's going on now staff is really nice though and good prices

Their tacos are good but lately is not as consistent as it used to be. Today I also had some super burrito and there is nothing special about and pretty dry and salty for the extra charge I could just did a regular. Used to be one of favorite place cause of the convenience of the drive thru, but after today I'll only stick to the tacos, or go somewhere else.

$2.25 for the regular carne asada tacos, $3 for super al pastor. Really good deal considering how much meat each taco has! (They load it up) The meat itself is not seasoned but the onion, cilantro and lemon make up for it.

Used to be one of the best places order super burrito salsa just hella salty the meat has super low quality. Take ur money elsewhere not as good as it used to be.

The quesadilla was good.. the service was mid but like if you ain't got a place to go to around 12 this is your place since it closes at 1 am
