This park is a hidden gem in East Sac.It's located right off of the East Lawn Memorial cemetery and doesn't easily show up on maps. Hahaha. But it's a clean, shaded park with a small play structure and sandbox for kids to play in. They have a nice green lawn too which is fun for parties or picnics. One of the better parks to go to in the summer as there is a shade and lots of trees keeping it cooler than most parks.Parking can be a bit iffy as Folsom is a bo parking zone and 42nd St serves the residents who need to park so on busy days or events (like the holidays) it can be tough to find parking.

Super great playground structure, sand play area, and picnic tables.Unfortunately, the gate is next to an extremely busy road, Folsom Blvd, and there is no child lock on that gate. City of Sac, please move the gate away from Folsom Blvd & add a child safety lock before something preventable happens.

My daughter recently moved to East Sacramento, along with her daughter and granddaughter. I visited them today and we had a lovely walk to this cute little park. It's the best park for smaller children. Not crowded and newer equipment.

This is a cute park for smaller children. It's pretty basic with sand, a couples slides, things for the kids to climb on, and a couple benches for parents to sit on. Overall, it's cute, quaint, and neighborhood friendly.

Great, friendly, quiet neighborhood park. It is a good smaller alternative to McKinley for younger children. We love coming here for the slides, ride-on toys and climbing structure. It could use and is due for a revamp later this year, but is open and enjoyable until then!
