Dunlop Family Furniture & Mattress

I bought a couch from Dunlop a few years back and had great service along with incredible pricing then. I was in the market for a recliner and after checking out some furniture stores in the Sac area, I'd remembered Dunlop and how easy they were to work with. They have a huge selection of recliners to choose from. Toni helped me out and she was fantastic- very low pressure and didn't hover like they do at Lazy Boy furniture. I was able to try out several recliners, then brought my kids to try them, then finally my husband, who will be the King of the chair. Again, very low pressure and friendly service.We found the best power, leather recliner. The price was discounted due to a teeny cut on the back, hardly noticeable. I'm so happy with our purchase. Plus, they delivered just 2 days later (Lazy Boy said 2 weeks if in their warehouse, or 2 months if we had to order a chair) and it was free! I, once again, highly, highly recommend Dunlop Furniture!

I highly recommend Dunlop Family Furniture for many reasons but mostly because of their exceptional customer service and quality furniture selections! After visiting their showroom with my mother-in-law where she bought a beautiful chair for her new home we returned to the showroom last year when we wanted a new couch. My husband and I found the perfect for us couch that day and the transaction was flawless. We were recently in need of a dresser so I returned to Dunlop Family Furniture for my purchase. Again, the transaction was flawless. Without going in to details, after just a few days of delivery of the new dresser I no longer needed it. The staff at Dunlop Family Furniture was amazing and worked with me quickly to pick up the dresser. They 100% honored their return policy. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the dresser. It was perfect and a good, quality, solid piece of furniture but situations changed in our lives and we no longer needed it. Dunlop Family Furniture is the best! I won't hesitate to return to their beautiful showroom to buy my next piece of furniture and support this local gem!

I would give 0 stars if I was able to. We bought a couch, a recliner and a bed here less than 2 years ago. The bed is sagging and the recliner is completely busted and they will do nothing about it after telling me originally there was a 5 year warranty on all that I bought. They sell subpar furniture and after one year, they act as if it is not there responsibility.

Yes, they are a very reputable company who stand behind their word if anything re a part, etc needs to be replaced!! they will drive a distance just to ensure that the consumer gets what they paid for and are happy!! they have a beautiful array of furniture and catalogs to meet the needs of every individual. The company has been around a great while as I purchased furniture from them when they were Oak Liquidators!! If you are looking for nice furniture at a decent price for what you get, Dunlap is the place to go!!! your experience with them from the purchase of your items to the customer service after the fact, is A+ . I stand by my word, you will be very happy with the whole experience and the knowledgeable sales people will educate you on what you are buying in comparison to other items in their store!! they know so much about each manufacturer's products so you can make an educated decision on what you want. We have purchased two king size beds, couches and dining room furniture from them in the past 5 years and have been very impressed with the quality, delivery service, and customer service in that time. The next purchase would be from Dunlap. Keep up the good work y'all.

My husband and I lost our home in the Paradise fire and had to temporarily relocate to Pioneer. We purchased living room and dinning room furniture from Dunlop Family Furniture. Pete, the salesman, whom we we made the purchases from, was very professional and friendly. We have furnished the majority of our home with furniture from Dunlop's. Most of our experience has been with Tony. He has been such a great individual to work with. Always taking such great care of us. Everything we have purchased has been perfect. Not one issue with anything we've ever bought here. Definitely a 5 star business!

We felt we were misled by the sales staff. Word of wisdom.,....if you can't see it and sit on it.....don't buy from pictures!!!!

We always buy locally. After a fire burned down our home, we got out with nothing but our PJ's on. Do NOT Ever buy from Dunlap Family Furniture. We got screwed twice with two very expensive purchases less than 2 years ago. They are liars. We will Never buy from them again. Buyers beware!Worst place you could ever go, plus their quality is next to zero. Our new "top-of-line" Queen bed, at nearly $2,000, is already sagging: I weigh 103 pounds, my husband weighs 150. The only plus was they waved the sales tax for "fire victims." Big whop! Every local furniture store does the same.

The staff was super friends when they were making the sale. Their friendlyness ends there though. After we bought the couches we were told it usually takes about a month but since Covid he would say about 8-12 weeks just to give the company a buffer. Well we are in week 14 and have not been contacted by Dunlap furniture unless we call and on our final call with them they have the nerve to tell my girlfriend that she may just be taking her frustrations out on them and that they can say sorry as much as she wants but it's not gonna change anything (so not once did they say sorry) and to top it off the man we spoke with was acting more like a therapist than a salesman wanting to keep customers happy.... never would I return to them for any kind of business and it would be smart of everyone else to not use them either..."You say our customer service is bad but we have been around 24 years so apparently something is good" is the exact quote their manager told us
