Updating my review because I have had a chance to try many other things on the menu! The owners are the best - extremely nice and accommodating, we love coming in here either for a meal or a quick drink. The hamburgers are great, I personally love the teriyaki salmon meal with rice. My husband loves the chicken sandwich and my son loves the hot dog. You really can't go wrong.

5 star foodGood service. The chicken teriyaki was amazing but the bento box didn't fit my food. There was too much and my bento box almost exploded. Coming again but way to much food and good service lol.

Score! What a find! So happy to have found this gem of a restaurant right off the good ole 99 highway. No fancy frills. No false intentions. Just simply some super delicious Korean yum yums! It's a small little restaurant, humble for sure, with a nice well stocked bar. I have not yet checked out the course so no yelping about that. Most Golf course type restaurants are rarely busy, so walking in to see it slow was no surprise or concern.Asked for a suggestion, was suggested the spicy pork...done. I love spicy pork! Daijee bulgogi, if you will.Everything came out on one plate we had the meat, some rice and a super delicious FRESH green salad. Lovely lady who brought it out noticed I was Korean and smiled and asked if I wanted some Kim chi, duh right? She brought out some really good Kim chi along with Dam muji (daikon).Really loved this place. In fact, I'm taking my whole family back here day after tomorrow. My wife looooooooves Don katsu, and they have it on the menu so...you know. Happy wife, happy life! :) See you soon!!

Surprisingly very good for a golf course. You can order regular or spicy. The mix is thick. No veggies, but it's made to take with you on the golf course. I'd definitely order again.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is excellent. The restaurant definitely has a dated look but somehow, retains its charm. Just something comforting and even nostalgic about it. The food is great. I like going there for lunch.

Stopped here on our way down 99 - breakfast time and they have a breakfast menu but we really wanted to try the Asian food. They cooked the spicy pork for us and it was great! Great portions. My husband loves Asian for breakfast and this made him very happy. Meat and rice and salad. They call it spicy but it was not too spicy just a nice flavor. We will stop again when we come this way.

2 1/2 Stars.Golden Acorn serves a dual purpose. Besides being a restaurant, Golden Acorn also serves as the Clubhouse for the Dry Creek Ranch Golf Course, a Par 72, 6,400 yard course. The Golf Course is located on the SouthEast side of Galt. Golden Acorn is operated and managed by a Korean family, who are also Golf fanatics, as are the kitchen staff.I arrived at Golden Acorn after a circuitous Bicycle ride from Lodi to Thornton to Galt. IMO, of all the places I've been to in Galt, Golden Acorn iis the only facility large enough to house corporate events, weddings, special events, social gatherings, banquets, and large parties. On the menu today...Special Omelette (** $7.95) Nothing special here. All Breakfast dishes come with Toast and Potatoes. The three Egg Omelette contained diced Green Bell Peppers, bits of Ham, and some Onions. It was folded over and some slices of American Cheese placed on top. Potatoes were "enhanced" with Seasoned Salt.Short Stack of Pancakes (*** $4.95) Not bad in flavor, but the kind of Pancakes makes it seem that there is always a shortage of Syrup... no matter how much you use. Syrup from a small packaged container.Coffee (*** $1.25) Nothing Special. Sweetener and Cream from packets.Ambiance (****) Breakfast is served at the Bar. The Bar is faces South and overlooks the 9th and 18th holes of the Dry Creek Ranch Golf Course. The Bar has picture windows along the South Wall so that anyone seated at the Bar can observe goings-on on those holes. There is a tiered structure to the Bar area where the Bartender at the Bar does not obstruct the view to the outside, and anyone seated at the Bar is actually seated lower than the patrons seated behind them at the three Dining Tables. Nice, warm, dark burnished wood atmosphere with plaques of former 49ers and Tiger Woods on some walls. Looks like this is a 49ers Golf Course...While I was consuming my Breakfast, many Golfers came off the Golf Course, at the end of their round or during their "turn" (9th hole), to purchase Beer or Cigars to take back on the course. Golfers have it pretty nice!
