Great food. Wonderful presentation. Delectable seafood. Fun robot brought us our drinks. Friendly staff. One issue: if Dripping Crab wants longevity, they need to only play background that is clean. No swear words. Families will be turned off by bad words in the background

I've been a regular here and I can confidently say it's one of the best dining experiences in the area! The pricing is incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. The shrimp boil is a standout dish--it's bursting with flavor, and every bite is a delight.What really sets Dripping Crab apart is the friendly and helpful staff. They create an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. On one of my visits, I brought my cousins along, and they were equally impressed with the food. The staff even offered to take a Polaroid picture of us, which they proudly displayed on the wall. It was such a sweet gesture! The lady who assisted us was especially kind and gave us a copy of the photo to keep as a memento.Another great aspect of Dripping Crab is that it's never crowded, so you can usually get seated right away. This hidden gem in Stockton is definitely a must-visit, and I can honestly say it's better than Captain Crab. If you're looking for delicious seafood in a friendly environment, look no further than Dripping Crab!

First off: the name. I'm guessing whoever named this place does not speak English as their first language. Immigrants are great, but perhaps it's a good idea to ask native speakers of English for advice before naming their businesses. "Dripping Crab" does not sound particularly appetizing, and nothing about it suggests Cajun or Creole. (On the other hand, "The Dripping Crabs" would be a great name for a band.)My food--catfish--was fine. My dining companion did not enjoy her food--shrimp--as much as I enjoyed mine. The fries, sauces, and cole slaw were all average.The service could have been better. When I noticed that the last item in our order hadn't shown up, I started looking for a server. Unfortunately, it took a while to get anyone's attention. I was just about to get up when someone noticed I was trying to catch their eye. After I asked for the last part of our order, it came to our table promptly.This restaurant uses robots to deliver the food & drinks to the table. OK, whatever.(Side note: part of a server's job is to, well, *serve* food. If robots are doing that part, are servers really earning their full tip? No, I didn't reduce my tip because of the robots, but it's something to think about.)I wanted to like this place, but unless I'm seriously jonesing for fried food while passing through Stockton, I probably won't be back.

We came on a Saturday night for dinner. They are in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking but it is very dark. No lights There were only a couple of tables so we got right in. Pretty basic menu you pick which combo of seafood you want and then you pick your sauce and spice level. We picked the special sauce which is the combo of all 4 and mild heat. Sadly the mild was spicy. There is a lot of garlic in their sauce. A robot brought our drinks which was fun and our server was very nice. I would just say that with the flavor and heat level we would not return. If you love garlic and spice then you would probably like it.

This is a nice place to get your crab fix. You going to get messy if you don't wear your bib and gloves haha. I got the lobster roll which was decent but I have yet to have a lobster roll that makes me crazy about it. The wings were good and crispy the way I like. The crab was seasoned well and fun to make a mess haha. They have robot waiters bring you the food which is cool but when I give a tip, is the robot getting it haha.

Good stuff! Fast service. Cool and calming environment. Food is really tasty too. I would definitely come here again.

This place is definitely worth it!! My partner and I wanted something to eat but not the same ol thing..I seen that this place was new and close to my house so I said let's try it. I'm hella happy I did. We ordered the soft shell crab po boy, the catfish basket and the deep fried pickles. Everything was delicious the soft shell crab was perfection, sweet fried n not greasy. The catfish was the perfect size..and even though the breading came off the pickles a little bit they were still bomb. I will definitely be back and recommend this place 100%

The food was great. We got wings & fries 10/10 the wings were fried to perfection. I got one of the 30$ specials and it was definitely worth it. The garlic noodles were good. I like they the noodles were thin and had so much garlic. The service was great the waitress was so attentive. The ambience was cute and relaxing. The music was a little loud but we were there for food

My fiancé and I rarely crave seafood and we always drive by here all the time and today we both tried it! As soon as we walked in, there was a tank full of lobsters and crabs that you can see. Its like a typical seafood place like Kicking Crab and Boiling Crab. There was like a shark decoration and this big crab on the wall. I shoulsve taken a picture of the crab. It was kinda cool. The waitress greeted and seated us right away. She was really nice. There was a robot that served our drinks. We ordered the lunch special. I ordered 3/4 pound of shrimp with the House Special sauce and Spicy level. It comes with 2 potatoes, 2 sausages, 1 corn, and 1 egg. My fiancé got 3/4 pound of shrimp and mussels with the House Special sauce and Tongue on Fire spice level. We also ordered the Wing Basket with lemon pepper fries. It didn't take long to get our food. I tried my fiancé's spice level and it was good! It wasn't that spicy to us but the sauce was so good! Shrimp, mussels, wings, and fries was so good! I love the service there. The waitress was attentive to us. We give this 5 stars and we will be back again!

Me and my husband wanted to try a new seafood boil spot after the usual one we go to started lacking flavors. The flavor for their seafood boil is bomb. Definitely had that umami flavor. The portion is a great amount too. Very friendly service and quick with orders.
