Mega blocks table in the baby/toddler gated area. Very dirty & sticky. The majority of toys in there were in similar condition.

For how much money it was wasn't worth it. Was thinking it was more of a type of class for the 1 hr of "play" it's was doing the 4 things for 4-5 times. Not a obstacle course like they mention. Could of keeper the doors open because it was hot and it was not so great in the smell. For the set up was told it will be decorated for birthday child nothing was decorated besides the white board that said the birthday name. And the same rainbow balloons they say the keeps for many parties. Couldn't even serve our own food. Don't like asking for 2nds or not being able to help younger children getting food. Or being able to get our own drinks when we wants because if we stood up we be told to sit down. And especially not being able to set up cake and goodies we had. Not a great experience.

My 1 & 4 year olds loved today's Teddy Bear Picnic! My 1 year old gravitated toward the little square gated baby area a few times, and unfortunately, I did try to keep her out of there due to how dirty the majority of those toys were. The little mega blocks table in particular had dirt & sticky areas all over it, and for some reason my daughter kept going for it. There were plenty of other things to keep her busy though, and the staff members were all great. I do feel like they need to work on cleaning up & sanitizing that little area better though - A lot of the baby/toddler toys really just need to be tossed & replaced.

Friendly, knowledgeable staffClean, fun and fully equipped facilityExcellent class options from day/evening gymnastics to superhero and karate. Prices are a little high for children's activity but they make it easy to make up classes that are missed and you definitely get what you pay for. I haven't price checked wit other gymnastic options.

I grew up in dance & gymnastics and remember my experiences very well. So I'm comparing my experience at GymStars with that. Overall, this place is unorganized, inexperienced and is more of a playground for the kids. My child felt the class was boring and didn't teach anything. I visited this place twice to inquire on what classes were available for my children. Both times I stopped by, the front desk was lackadaisical and not thrilled to share the info. I assumed I came on a bad day, so I came back a second time to see if the experience was any better. It wasn't. I still gave them a chance and had my child do a trial day. When we arrived for our first trial day, my child's name was not on their welcome sign- as it had been for other children when I first visited the place. Nor was the instructor foretold that my child would be in their class; so it was an awkward start for her first trial. When class began, I looked around the gym and noticed that every instructor on the floor was unenthusiastic, not looking at what the children were doing and yawning from boredom. Not a single instructor had a smile on their face. It was evident that it was "just a job", and not a passion to teach these young children. There was a lot of fooling around, not taking the class serious and the instructors didn't seem to care when children were goofing around. When class was dismissed, I assumed there'd be someone to ask us about our experience and expected the instructor to also ask what I thought or how my child felt. I figured after 3 weeks, I would have at least received a phone call asking if we would like to enroll.... nope, nothing. I really wanted to like this place and gave them a chance. I never said a word and simply smiled each time I noticed an area they were lacking in. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for an actual instructor to teach their child real gymnastics. This is simply a fun workout play gym.

Updating my prior review, which was 1 Star. I did not leave it posted however because I feel the issues I was upset over have been resolved and are no longer relevant. I had a very pleasant and professional conversation with the President/CEO Christopher Curtis. He is actively working to resolve the issues I had with the professionalism of his staff and is doing all he can to accommodate my son and our needs. He was more than willing to listen to my concerns and address them without making me sound like a bother. As indicated in my prior review my son LOVES his class and wants to stay enrolled as long as possible.

We love GymStars so much that we drive from Manteca to attend classes there. My son is currently in one class and will be enrolling in a second soon. The staff is amazing! All the instructors my son has had have been wonderful. He talks about them all week until he sees them again. The owners are what customer service is about. They know my sons name and always ask how he likes his classes. No need to keep looking, this is the best place around!

The price for the teddy bear picnic play is definitely worth it! The check in was a little chaotic for first timers because there is no line or organization. My daughter had a blast, and there was a lot for her to do. The workers are young and do not correct the kids (unless something excessively dangerous is happening), but parents should be correcting their kids instead of focusing on posting snaps of their visits. Phone use should be limited while behind the gate for safety of all the kids playing. It also reduces the risk of parents needing to correct someone else's kids (which is a no-go for me).

Took my son into class today as they emailed me and were extremely accommodating and got him into a class. I was blown away by the experience and my son had an amazing time. He was able to socialize with others and currently even though he doesn't walk he was very interested in trying because he saw the other kids walking. He did more walking today in 1 hour than I have seen him do in 2 days. Miss Nikki is just the sweetest and the energy she has is so refreshing you can tell she loves her job and the children. I am so happy and grateful they were able to give him the opportunity to join in on a class and we are enrolled and going back!
