Dos Amigos Meat Market

Its my go to mexican supermarket. The staff here are friendly. Its not busy at all. This place is different from the places we usually go to in socal and in east bay area. Only reason for 4 stars is because some of the meat in the meat section look old. Get the fresh meats from the freezer. But other than that, friendly staff.

The area where they make the tacos looked bad to start. I just thought give them a chance. The guys making the tacos was wearing gloves. I saw him open the outside door behind him I think to get more tortillas. And he kept wiping his hand in his apron. I was truly hoping he was going to change his gloves before grabbing the actual tortilla to put it in the grill since you can even see how dirty the gloves were. He didn't.... I asked him politely if he can please changed his gloves. He got insulted and said you don't have to eat here. I just said you're right. I not. I think it's very nasty. But if you still decide to come here look at how dirty his gloves are.

Brought in a country ham I picked up while in NC. Sliced it perfectly for us for only $10. Picked up some chorizo as well...which was the best we've ever had. Great customer service as well.

Great meat market and little grocery store. Great meat selections. They also have a cooked food section as well. Got the asada and marinated chicken and bbq'ed and it was super tasty..! There homemade salsas are great as well. Love supporting smaller mom n pop markets! Give them a try and support your local. #DubsApproved
