Stopped here on our way through town the other day and grabbed a quick breakfast for myself and my husband. Parking was a bit of a mess. We ended up going around the block and then pulling into the side parking where people were double parked but eventually parking around the back. There were huge puddles and holes everywhere, so although we would return in the future, if the one street parking spot is not available when we drive by, we will most likely keep going. That being said there is lots of room to dine-in if you wanted. The shop itself is really just one small donut display and one small drink display. I did see that most of the low reviews here are centered around price and it was $15 for an apple fritter and old fashioned maple for myself and a ham and cheese croissant and a strawberry cruller for my husband. But the woman behind the counter was nice and very helpful. She even warmed the croissant for me. Everything tasted good and although the ham and cheese croissant was probably close to 40% of our whole purchase, it really hit the spot! The strawberry glaze n the cruller was also lovely. We would definitely return if we were in the area and the front parking was available.

Donut Street Cafe has been a morning ritual during my latest stay over in Clements. Never really paid much attention to it previously but decided to give it a try this trip. It's like an Old Fashion donut hangout. The regular local's coming and going. It's pretty simple in all aspects. Amazing fresh donuts daily. Basic original Farmer Brothers coffee. Hot and flavorful. They have cold case with the usual creamers and additives. I prefer half & half which is always fresh and available. The Donut holes appear to be the choice of many who know about them. They stack them high on a platter at the front case. They're delicious. All the Donuts are great. They also have excellent Jalapeño & ham Croissant sandwiches. Over the top tasty. The cafe is run by the sweetest mother and daughter duet. They're always happy in the morning to satisfy the customers. Oh and did I mention they always throw in a few Donut holes with ever order complimentary. So don't hesitate to stop in and discover this great little cafe and get your sweet tooth fix. Note: They do not offer any iced coffee or espresso, latte, etc. Note 2: The cost of Donuts has risen exponentially in the past 5 years. Have you been to a Krispy Kreme lately. The donuts here are still less than in the metro markets. Donut Street Cafe is worth it for quality and flavor

Only 2 problems with this place. #1 the donuts are waaaaaay overpriced #2 the lady NEVER gets there on time. There is a lot of people in lockeford that go to work at 5am, an she NEVER is open on time. I see people waiting for her till 5:30 to open. Not good for business.

My goodness, what a great little donut shop!!! They have a wide variety of donut flavors and croissants. We got the ham and cheese croissants, ham cheese and jalapeño croissant, and a plain croissant. She warmed them all up for us on this chilly morning and they were AMAZING! Just absolutely decadent. So fresh and flaky.Another cool thing about this place is that they don't pre-fill any donuts. So if you want one filled, you choose the donut then you can choose between 3 flavors of jelly/custard!!! We got glazed donut holes filled with jelly and they were awesome.Love this place. Definitely stop in here!!!

Stopped by here on a whim while passing through and was greeted very cheerfully by a very nice girl and helped right away. I only bought one maple bar but when I got to my car there were a few extra donut holes in the bag! The donuts are delicious and appreciate them going the extra mile, it's the little things

The donuts here are donuts nothing different about them They taste the same as other donuts. But they are very high priced. $25.00 for a dozen jelly donuts is pretty ridiculous!

100% agree with the other poster about prices. They have doubled in the past several years. Absolutely not worth the price considering what you get. Prices that they charge are similar to shops in the Bay Area. Used to be a solid place, but after this last of paying $31 for a dozen French cruellers, I will not be patronizing this establishment again.

I have to say that one of the unfortunate things in Lockeford a small town is to find some places that are totally over priced. This is one of these places. The donuts are decent add they have some nice options to stuff your donuts or top though, but there are far from the best. Since it was my only option on my way to work I decided to grab a couple of donuts for an unhealthy breakfast and a bottle of milk. I grabbed one chocolate donut, one apple fritter and a bottle of milk and it cost me over $10. That is unbelievable. Unfortunately I won't be coming back to be ripped off. When the lady gave me the total, I should've just walked away. There are a lot of other better choices out there for less. Maybe if they need to renegotiate their rent
