When we're craving for sandwiches this place is a must have. We favor this place over any in the area. Or like today we drove 20 minutes out of our way to grab some food. They're small family owned business who serves good sandwiches. Quick and friendly service.

While in town last week visiting our elderly friends, we were told there was a new owner. Much to our delight, it is true!What a difference! Nice people, friendly, fast service and all without the attitude!Forgot to check their hours, however, we will definitely be returning!Well wishes to the new owner and best of luck getting people back. Great sandwiches and fantastic customer service. One thing I love about Lockeford is the small town customer service and care. This deli embodies that well. Plenty of seating inside.

Excellent sandwiches great menu selections also. Although they have only a couple of employees on site they are polite snd efficient.

I've been eating here since childhood, food has always been amazing, customer service is so friendly and personal. 12/10 recommend.

We love Donkey J's! We recently had a celebration of life for my father in law and Donkey J's did a fabulous job with the party trays. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The trays were arranged perfectly. Our favorite is their deviled eggs! Everyone loved them and all the food Jenna and team prepared!

Had the veggie omelette! The omelette was fresh and cooked perfectly The hash browns were crispy and buttery and flavorful.

Such a cute place with a farmhouse feel. Food is amazing and I've been in 3 times for sandwiches and tried something different each time. Cookies are beyond delicious and crave them anytime I'm in the area. Friendly staff and that family feel in a good way.
