Dollar 1 Only Stores

Is ZERO STARS an option?This place is crusty. The owner is crusty and mean. Told my seven-year-old son, "Don't go over there!" Well damn, the store ain't but 12 feet by 12 feet, where can he go?!?This is also one of those crusty dollar stores where just about everything costs more than a dollar.Don't waste your time going here.

DO NOT SHOP HERE BY ANY MEANS! The piece of shit douchebag had the nerve to ask who made my 100 dollar bill and I was so stunned, I couldn't answer because of what I heard! I told him, " I'm sure the government did, but I earned it", and then he had the nerve to ask where do I work! What the fuck homie, it's 2015, go fuck yourself and wake the fuck up. I put the cheap ass China made Japanese fan back and said no thanks on anything here and snatched my shit back and vowed to never return again.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses.When I learned about the new Dollar store in Lathrop, I was really excited and went to shop there immediately, but I was soon dissapointed when they stopped giving out receipts, which only means one thing. They don't honor returns. So once you leave the store with their junk and it breaks or doesn't work, you're out of luck. I purchased some little jars from there and when I got home one of them was broken. Of course, I couldn't return it since they didn't give me a receipt. I have stopped shopping at t his business. I also avoid shopping at any stores that are owned by Indian people who don't give receipts, which is most of them. They also stopped packaging item in bags and that can lead to them accusing you of stealing their junk. It's not worth shopping here. They charge you .50 if you don't pay with cash. Stores owned by Indians encourage you to pay with cash so they can rip off the government. I shop at the dollar stores in Manteca instead. I always get a receipt and I can pay with my credit card.Please don't review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you're connected in any way to the owner or employees.

I like this Dollar store. They carry different stuff from the Dollar Tree. I wish they didn't charge to use plastic cards. I rarely use cash for anything so it's a hassle paying with cash. They easily make mistakes when they give change which is yet another reason I don't like to pay with cash. They don't honor returns if you pay cash since they don't give you a receipt.

horrible!!! too bad i can't rate a "0". i bought 17 -balloons here - they died within hours. i contacted the store the next day and he wants to argue with me- that's how the balloons are... dumb dumb dumb!! will never go here again! so rude & unproffessional!
