Diablo Vista Apartments

Sebastian was really helpful with giving me a tour of different units that were available. He answered all of my questions, and he was so friendly. Thank you Sebastian for being so kind during our process of finding a new home.

Unresponsive. Customer service is non-existent.Previous Property Manager JoMarie was the best and ever since she left Diablo Vista has been on a downward spiral when it comes to hospitality and organization.If you like being ignored after multiple calls and emails then Diablo Vista is the place for you. Is a simple acknowledgement too much to ask for?

As people who tend to move around a lot (Bay Area rent prices have been chasing us everywhere), Diablo Vista is the only place we've felt at home in. We've been here for three years and plan on sticking around!Yolanda recently helped us transition from one of the older, less updated apartments (which they're in the process of updating!) into a new, fancy cottage-style apartment. She helped us every step of the way, and went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we needed, both peace and quiet-wise, and financially. She made the transfer process go seamlessly, worked with us on move-in/out dates, and worked with upper management to make things as financially feasible as possible. She's been nothing but fantastic!We love our new apartment! It feels like a house. Not only is it equipped with quartz counters (!!), a WiFi enabled stove, an updated dishwasher and fridge (can you tell I love to cook?), and a washer/dryer, but the backyard space is ample for an apartment and the grounds are beautiful. It's a short distance away from Downtown Livermore, which has some fabulous food and shopping. The feel here is like a small town with big conveniences. I love looking out of my new kitchen window (it's the little things, right?) and enjoying our new space every morning. I feel a sense of renewal! Thank you, Yolanda and Diablo Vista Team!

Been here a year after moving from San Leandro and there have been several changes. All buildings received a much needed makeover including the carports. All units now have a washer and dryer. Only downfall is the size of the machine's which are not convenient for large loads or blankets. They took out the laundry room to accommodate a new office and hopefully an updated gym (still in construction). There will also be a clubhouse but from what I hear there will be a cost to use it. Not sure yet what that will be. The pool is nice size and they have rebuilt the bbq area. No jacuzzi. Anytime I need maintenance to fix something, they get on it within a day or two depending on the severity of the issue. Yolanda the property manager is great to work with and addresses all issues and/or complaints timely and professionally. The community is a mixture of families, young and older and single people and for the most part there are no issues or conflicts with neighbors, no loud music after 10pm, and it's pretty quit all day long. The complex is 5 minutes away from Target and Safeway and 7 min from Walmart. Downtown is about 10 min away. Although it's pretty pricey to live here I do love the area and the people in this area are super friendly. Everything you need is within walking distance or a quick drive from the complex.

Although I lived there awhile ago the manager, Jomaire was amazing, kind, and very helpful. Whenever someone ask what's a good place to rent that feels like home, I say Diablo Vista apartments

Moving isn't easy nor is it fun. But thank you to the ladies in the office Candis & Yolanda they made it fun & easy! I had the pleasure of touring with Candis. She is like a breath of fresh air! If you want amazing customer service and a clean quiet cozy community then I highly recommend to stop by and take a tour. The maintenance team is also awesome! The apartment was immaculate when I first toured it. And so were the grounds of the community. Thank you, Diablo Vista Team!

Diablo Vista is an awful place to live in ever since management changed. Some of the staff were very rude and lacked empathy at a time we really needed their help the most. They answered our plea for help without compassion and without effort. They "helped" us by simply closing the door on us. They did not care that our items were stolen and in the past have done nothing when they've been damaged on their property. One of them actually said that they had no responsibility if our car goes missing even though we are paying for parking here...Do yourselves a favor and find another place. Make sure management is reliable and double check if their contract will expire. I really wish we had the old staff back because they were amazing and very compassionate, especially during the pandemic, when our finances got heavily affected. New management just hikes up the rent and charges to a ridiculous extent and they have had the most "routine" unit inspections per year I've ever experienced.If "doing the least" was personified, you'll find it as the property manager but that's giving her too much credit.

The issue with the earwig insects invading our residence inside and out needs to get under control. It's problematic when these insects get in your bed, crawl onto your neck somehow, are sitting in your kitchen sink and on the counter, in your shoes, dangle from the ceiling over your bed ready to drop (and do), etc. What else can you do if you repeatedly report each incident and to no avail? I am losing sleep because of this and am at whit's end. I'm a senior with mobility problems, facing surgery and these constant encounters have disturbed and disrupted my quality of life. If anyone has a solution I welcome your input. I need to move.

Prospective tenants be advised , the new ownership (August 2021) and mgmt of Diablo Vista will not refund your deposit when you move out. Even if you leave the apartment in excellent shape they will simply ignore your request for your deposit refund back. I am taking them to small claims court. I've sent multiple emails which they ignore. You have been warned , to Diablo Vista it is a fee not a deposit!

We sold our house a year ago and moved to these apartments while our house was being built. The apartment was basic but very clean with an up to date look. The grounds are very nice and the facilities seem nice enough. The staff are easy to deal with as well. It is very conveniently located near shopping, public transportation and the highway. My only complaint is that there was no in-unit washer and dryer and the water pipes between the apartments are very noisy. Other than that, I highly recommend Diablo Vista.
